Great job messing up that title. I'm glad I backed this, but honestly I feel like the whole thing was a bit too cheery and not enough inventive ways to fight the mouse and software like in the classics.
I love that enthusiastic clapping from the other stick figures :v:
10/10
Haha, loved it!
That was wonderful. I loved the [sp]happy[/sp] ending.
This. I really liked the ending in this one, i much prefer an ending like this over another ending with the stick figure turning into a slave etc.
That was nice.
Really nicely done, though I feel it was a trying a bit too hard to be dramatic at times.
Really wondering how he did the iPhone part, wondering if he used a special video player?
THIS IS SO AWESOME
Alan Becker, you're the best. I remember when he made a game based on the 2nd animator vs animated clip. Also nice to see these Xiao Xiao stick figures again.
I always drew them in my self made comic book when I was 10 or so.
iPhones don't support flash, its ruined for me :(
that was amazing

seeing the pen nib worn to the bone hurts so bad
I loved every part of this. Im gonna watch it again.
Really awesome! I remember watching the first one.
Although 11k to make it? I mean it's really well done but It's the kind of thing you'd have seen on newgrounds a few years ago that someone did as a little project, not something you'd need a massive amount for.

I don't think you understand the work and time that goes into even one second of animation.
Huh, I didn't even know there was a 3rd one.

You'd probably cry blood if you saw my tablet.
It's 8 years old and the surface is worn down to a smooth shine, and the rubberized coating on the held part of the pen itself is wearing away. :v:

nibs are dirt cheap and should be replaced once they've got a flat edge, not even worn down that much. even the fancy spring-loaded nib he has in there is cheap for how long they last

Why fix what isn't broken?
It works perfectly fine still, there's no reason to replace it. Just being heavily used is not a good enough reason for me.
And I don't have 50 bucks.
P.S. The nib on my pen is fine and still pointed despite my cat knocking it off my desk countless times

though i'd still replace it imo

Oops :v:
I might get a new one someday but it's not in my top priorities as long as the old one works.
And funny you mention Wacom Bamboo, because that's exactly what it is.
A testament to their longevity and durability!

the current generation of bamboos are better quality than the top of the line intuos pads from 8 years ago, well worth the investment if we were comparing them to your unit if it were good as new, heh.
So long as it works for you, it works for you, but you'd be surprised by the upgrade
Nostalgia within nostalgia on that one.

I remember my mind being blown at that 3D part.
That entire thing as well as the ending was just amazing, he put that kickstarter money to good use
Didn't really like it.
Too cheery, too dramatic, the cuts to outside of the screen just detract from it.
What I liked from the first two was that it had a good flow and was constant albiet I didn't like the chat box in the second one either. Seeing a stick figure fight inside a desktop is cool, watching someone type it awkwardly on aim isn't.
Fun little thing: if you head to http://sticksfight.com, you get to see the first little animation where [sp]The Chosen One breaks in to the game[/sp].
If you were ever a fan of Animator Vs Animation from so long ago then it's impossible not to like this.

Considering that you'll need to spend a lot of time creating the animation (as well as getting the iPhone segment down right) you're not going to have much time at all to work a full time job as well as have some off time to do other things like socializing and vacations etc. 11k supplements some of the living costs plus possibly the video camera and music composition.
Fucking incredible.
