I'm not marginalizing it at all, it's a huge issue. I can't tell what his motivation for that post was, so I'm going to give him the benefit of the doubt (because he tends to be an asshole to everyone).
I'm also NOT putting them on the same level. Misogyny is a lot more prevalent in our culture than misandry, I'm just saying in other threads (that aren't even RELATED to this one) that it's an issue as well, which it is.

Society has a lot of misandry going around as well. Men are expected to be kind to women, put themselves before others more often, sacrifice themselves, serve in war, etc. I'm not saying that it's quite as widespread as misogyny, but we should also not treat one less serious than the other.
