OH MY GOD! Is this a total annihilation remake please let it be so
Total:Annihialation / Supreme commander in space. Holy fuck I want this game. edit: Wow, I thought the narrator sounded the same, but it's because he is the same.
I hope they don't trash it if they don't get $900,000. I don't see why they need that much anyways seeing how popular SMNC/MNC were.

Lost it at this part
Many projects break $1,000,000 so it's not unreasonable that this project might. It's only day one but it's already received a substantial pledge level (over 7% of the needed total). The trick will be to spread the word. I'm already in at the $100 tier.
Backed it with $40. I really hope these guys get the chance to make this game because Space + Robots + Blowing the fuck out of planets = AWESOME.
canceled my order of 2 copies of Dead Rising 2 Off the Record and my Pre-Order of Blops 2 to help fund this i've never heard of TA, but a fucking RTS that spans a whole galaxy where asteroids can become weapons? i hope there's space combat too [editline]16th August 2012[/editline]
Procedural Planet Creator Create custom or randomized maps with our procedural planet creator. Like what you see? Save them and share them with the Planetary Annihilation community.

Advanced Modding features Create new units, gametypes, maps and planet archetypes. Run your own servers with your own sets of units and game modes.
holy shit i can finally fulfill my fantasies of a Lord of the Rings Space RTS
Just did the $15 tier, I want this thing! It's like a Super more-badass version of Supreme Commander, beautiful!!! Oh God WAIT IT IS BEING MADE BY THOSE WHO MADE SUP COM.
THIS NEEDS TO HAPPEN
Considering how the trailer is 100% GCI, they haven't worked on the game at all yet. I'm excited to see if they can pull this off. If they can make planets feel a bit larger but make the gameplay exactly how that video interpreted it, then OH MY GOD YES.
SupCom, with moonbases and asteroid missiles? I've seen a Unit Cannon before, t'was my favorite toy in SupCom2... but an INTERPLANETARY variant? HNNNNNNNGGGGGG I don't need to buy a car, let me just pledge all of my car money to this. Gimmegimmegimmegimme
$90,000 in one day! [editline]15th August 2012[/editline] Still, isn't a goal of nearly a million dollars a bit much to ask?
Oh lordy this sounds like one of my dream games. I really hope they can pull it off. If they do I would love being able to have all players start out on a different planet and start doing some interplanetary robot invasions.
Damnit I want this to be funded but $900,000 is a step goal for only 1 month.
They would have been better off trying to part fun this with kickstarter and then striking a deal with a publisher to go half and half with the funds. I mean even if they do mannage $900,000 that's still only the absolute bare minimum you can make a game on, considering stuff like starcraft 2 cost $100 million in the end.
A lot of money in AAA games goes into marketing though.
putting rockets on an asteroid to send into your enemies base fuck yeah
Looks cool as dick, if that was gameplay, at all
Looks cool as dick, if that was gameplay, at all
i guess dick's pretty cool to you, then
One backer has pledged 5,000 SOMEBODY is really fucking excited
So far, I like what I see. If they can make the game look very much like that and have it play like a mix between Red Alert and Civilization I will be oh so happy.
One backer has pledged 5,000 SOMEBODY is really fucking excited
People have pledged 10,000 or 25,000 on other projects, they have the money I guess.
I hope this will be more TA than SupCom. I loved the ballistics and feel of battles in TA.
Looks cool as dick, if that was gameplay, at all
100% CGI. They haven't started making the game yet.
Holy shit, they've made 128 000 dollars already? Maybe they'll make it :D
I sent them a email because I was worried if they were going to take inspiration from Supreme Commander 2.
1:06 AM (9 hours ago) to info I read that some of your devs worked on games such as Supreme Commander. Will the game be more like Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance or Supreme Commander 2? Jon Mavor jmavor@uberent.com 1:07 AM (9 hours ago) to me, info More like FA (which I was the lead coder on). None of us worked on SupCom2."
Fortunately they weren't a part of that horse manure of a game so I have some faith in this.

Wow I take back what I said, they may very well do it.
Holy crap they already got 200k? I was skeptical that they would raise 900k in a month but it seems like they're going to do it
