It probably happens. But the reason for this would be people convincing gay men that they can surpass being gay, that it's a choice or whatever and convincing them to marry a woman. The problem exist but it's not the man's fault because he'd never marry a woman in the first place if people would let him be who he is.

First of all you treat all people differently depending on their character and who they are to you. Don't tell me you treat your mum the same way you treat your girlfriend, do you? It's okay to treat different people or even groups differently as long as you don't follow stereotypes and don't prejudge people based on the group they belong to.
Second, I replied to a guy copypasting one of the meanings of "discriminate" which was pretty much equal to "distinguish". And he implied that's the meaning that was used in the video, it's not. The video wasn't saying that there are differences between homo and heterosexuals, it was saying homosexuals can't do things because they're homosexuals. Completely different meaning of discrimination.
