The 2nd one scares me The rest feel fake on a rewatch
I love how the first guy who did it jumped into the pool then right before it cuts he resurfaces just floating in the water facedown, looking legitimately dead. :v:
Jesus christ, at least if you do this, don't pour it over your fucking face! I remember this story of a guy going after his dog in Yellowstone after he fell into a boiling spring. Fucking dude was blind when he got out. Seriously, this was how the pedophile chef died in Sleepaway Camp, stupid shits. It's almost as if people have a pain fetish...
Because the ALS ice bucket challenge is too mainstream
Reminds me of the salt+ice challenge, where people were getting 3rd degree burns

Speaking of retards hurting themselves
Speaking of retards hurting themselves
... Isn't this something they used to do for torture?
Speaking of retards hurting themselves
That didn't even go in all the way to the root of the nail. I mean for fuck's sake that was barely a fifth of an inch. :v: For the record I have no toenail on my right left foot because of a bizarre incident similar to that. EDIT: I was piss drunk when I typed this out, I have all my toe nails that was bs, but I don't have a "right left foot".
This is fake right? Nobody can be this stupid to throw BOILING FUCKING WATER in their own face.
This is fake right? Nobody can be this stupid to throw BOILING FUCKING WATER in their own face.
They can be I'm afraid.
They can be I'm afraid.
That's just being terribly uninformed. These guys are just upright ignoring any sort of sense of self preservation.
If you don't actually see them boil the water then pour it on themselves in one complete take then it's fake. Like this one is real http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=a9b_1414331121
lmfao if you watch at 0.5 speed at 1:02 he sounds like a zombie from HL2
Oh my god I'm dying.
The video could be called the Darwin Award Challenge :v:
That's just being terribly uninformed. These guys are just upright ignoring any sort of sense of self preservation.
He's not uninformed, he MUST be intentionally spouting this shit because scare tactics. Let's break down what he said. I'm thinking a AR-15 Magazine with a loaded Garand clip attached to it. So there's the 30 caliber magazine clip. Firing at what did he say? 30 rounds in half a second? 3,600 rounds per minute. Jesus that's faster than some Gatlin guns by over a thousand rounds. Can we convert our airsoft guns to do this, too?! What a fucking pole smoker
Actually boiling water would scar the shit out of you. I don't believe those are all 100*C
The video could be called the Darwin Award Challenge :v:
Pretty sure the Darwin Award can only be given posthumously. So now we have to wait for some moron to somehow die by doing this.
Isn't there a video of liquid nitrogen being poured on someone? And it doesn't do shit?
So what's this for, the Burn Scars Association?
I am clumpsy cook so I admit that I have made some mistakes in the past with boiling water. Some water got on my foot for example and it wasn't much water but god damn the pain was there for like 4 days.
Isn't there a video of liquid nitrogen being poured on someone? And it doesn't do shit?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Leidenfrost_effect You can straight up insert your hand into a container of liquid nitrogen for a few seconds without being hurt (I've done it, in school no less), since the leidenfrost effect protects you by creating a barrier of gaseous nitrogen. So long as you took care not to inhale the nitrogen gas deeply as it was splashing against you, you'd be alright probably. This effect does not, of course, apply to boiling water.

edit: I have to call fake on these. There's no way people are doing this. The one where the dude spills the water from the balcony you can notice the obvious cut footage, and the burns instantly appear when it would take longer than instant impact to show.
and the burns instantly appear when it would take longer than instant impact to show.
I'm no expert but boiling water would probably burn flesh instantly

The thing is it takes a while for the burns to appear so we cant really determine whats real or not.
Some does sure look fake. But seeing how people have died by setting themselves on fire due to these challenges on the Internet, I'm not sure what to believe.
Did anyone watch this? This guy actually did it and got burns.
no one's denying this one's authenticity.
