Sad thing is this guy's getting money because people are ironically buying this game because it's "oh so bad lol".
"13/10 - Best game ever, Game Of The Year" - IGN "We'll fucking publish it." - EA "Not if we buy it first." - Ubisoft

How long until DA: the game comes out and it finally receives the attention and ensuing shitstorm it so deserves? I'm gonna bet that it's either by the end of this month or the start of August.
Again, my new term for these types of games, SCAMWARE, which isn't really known to be games, is what this is. But it's okay because it's in early access and therefor gets a pass No. I'm calling bullshit. This is clearly just another license free assets thrown together in an already built engine you paid a couple hundred dollars to officially use and have no intention to do anything with it but get money when you can before you fuck off
I should publish my unfinished flappy bird game that I'm making in UE4 on steam greenlight as a social experiment and see what happens
And this is exactly why bad games get greenlit.
That and because a very small potion of steam's userbase cares about greenlight enough to vote and most of those who do are just clueless kids voting for cool zombie games and minecraft clones.
I'm hesitant about calling it that since the developer is, at the very least, trying harder than most game developers like this and not being a total douche about it.
I'd say it's a kid that's being over ambitious if I didn't know any better but it doesn't seem so in this case. The guy might have just been scared that the video would spread fast because escapist is a rather big site, effectively killing the sales before he got enough money to make a run for it. The "patch notes" he posted about the new build might have been just for show, to show that he cares and that he is working on the game.
