You also realize how painful it would be to get shot in the face, right? In the video he goes down after 4-5 shots in the torso. Wearing a shirt and a hoodie. Now take that pain and multiply that by a (probable) factor of ten. You're going down no matter what you think might happen. Shit, I was hit by accident in the forehead during a match and I don't think I could even stop clutching my forehead for a good hour or so in sheer agony. He also probably realized that he wasn't in life-threatening danger after the first volley, otherwise he might have reacted in the way you described, assuming he could get close to the shooters. Also, yes, he would be charged with theft, but if he had stabbed or cut someone with the blade he would also be charged with assault, seeing as how the shooters in the video are defending their property on reasonable ground (i.e. he had done it before with proof). Once again related: can't stop watching the part where they just scare the shit out of him. Dunno why, it's just funny.
Adrenaline allows you to ignore large amounts of pain, paint balls aren't going to stop a person who believes his life is in danger. The reason he didn't act like he believed his life was in danger is because this video is fake. Any normal person would have had a Fight-or-Flight type of response, they wouldn't just stand there doing nothing while being assaulted by group of people. I don't know how laws work in your country, but where I live what they did would be classified as assault. He was well withing his rights to defend himself. Also what proof did they have? A video of a hooded person that could be anyone stealing bikes? That does not prove that the first person is the same as the second.
You're underestimating how hard a paintball can hit you. From the looks of the amount of gas coming out of the barrel, in winter, assuming it's c02, they chrono'd their paintball guns up to max. The normal paintball gun normally fires at a fraction of that power. Plus they had 3/4 guys shooting at him at once. Paintball guns at that velocity with leave some nasty bruises and welts. This could be considered the equivalent of getting in a fist fight.
Yea, that shit would HURT big time. Also, great video, I could watch assholes like that guy get fucked up all day.
stop arguing, enjoy video/dislike video, move on with life
these people give paintball a bad name.
That was pretty badass
Guy fucking deserved it I had three bikes stolen from the same spot... so it fucking sucks to get it stolen I should try this sometime
Guy fucking deserved it I had three bikes stolen from the same spot... so it fucking sucks to get it stolen I should try this sometime
How do you know it was the same person? The "Proof" doesn't show the face of the guy who stole the bikes.
Incredibly fake.
How do you know it was the same person? The "Proof" doesn't show the face of the guy who stole the bikes.
who cares whoever that stole it should get punished anyway; a crime's a crime
who cares whoever that stole it should get punished anyway; a crime's a crime
Assaulting someone because they stole a bike is not the proper way of dealing with it.
Assaulting someone because they stole a bike is not the proper way of dealing with it.
when its happened to you for the third time it seems just about right trust me
You have no idea how adrenaline or laws work do you? You honestly think that someone who believes his life is in danger and is willing to use a knife to defend himself would be stopped by a few paint balls? Also, he would only be charged with theft and carrying a knife. He would not be charged for defending himself.
No, but a can of mace to the face should do the trick. :downs:
when its happened to you for the third time it seems just about right trust me
It doesn't matter if it seems right, the point is that it isn't right. You don't gather a group of your friends together and assault one person, only punks and scum stoop to that level.
It doesn't matter if it seems right, the point is that it isn't right. You don't gather a group of your friends together and assault one person, only punks and scum stoop to that level.
Bike thief is speaking here. Please don't hurt him.
No, but a can of mace to the face should do the trick. :downs:
Because mace works 100% of the time.
Because mace works 100% of the time.
You've never been maced.
Bike thief is speaking here. Please don't hurt him.
Oh look, someone who knows nothing about laws.
Well it was obviously edited, seeing as how the police showed up right away when they normally take about 5-10 minutes to get ready and drive down a few blocks. From the time it takes someone to hear the yelling, to call the police, and for the police to actually show up would take a good 15-20 minutes. Still it was pretty cool. Would have been cooler if they used airsoft guns in my opinion, but whatever bro.

You don't gather a group of your friends together and assault one person, only punks and scum stoop to that level.
What would you rather do? Confront him one on one so he can shank/shoot you and take the fucking bike anyways? Why don't you just quit arguing already? [editline]08:07PM[/editline]
Oh look, someone who knows nothing about laws.
The hell does laws have to do with that?
Oh look, someone who knows nothing about laws.
Oh look, A bike thief who just told me I knew nothing of the law because I called him a bike thief.
You've never been maced.
Have you? There's plenty of videos showing mace doesn't work all the time
Have you? There's plenty of videos showing mace doesn't work all the time
Yes. I wouldn't think of trying anything after being maced.
Oh look, A bike thief who just told me I knew nothing of the law because I called him a bike thief.
You should get better at arguing, Ad hominem doesn't help you. Sorry that I don't justify committing crimes just because other commit them.
Have you? There's plenty of videos showing mace doesn't work all the time
There's also a video of somebody chopping a speeding bullet in half with a katana but it doesn't mean it's credible Fake or not, that's fucking awesome. I assume since they left an identifying mark for their group that there'll be more of this.
What would you rather do? Confront him one on one so he can shank/shoot you and take the fucking bike anyways? Why don't you just quit arguing already
I think we have a winner!
You should get better at arguing, Ad hominem doesn't help you. Sorry that I don't justify committing crimes just because other commit them.
stop quoting once per post; it makes your replies fucking confusing when you start quoting posts that predates the one you just quoted
I found it interesting how they sprayed his hand on the wall or whatever, kinda like an underground organization of crime stoppers.
You should get better at arguing, Ad hominem doesn't help you. Sorry that I don't justify committing crimes just because other commit them.
I'd rather you stop supporting other thieves.
what the fuck? i left for like 2 hours, stop your goddamn bitching you dumbasses

Why didn't the bike thief see the men who were carrying the paintball guns? In some of the shots, one of the paintball guys were directly in the light. Any thief would look around checking if no one's there and it wouldn't help if his eyesight was adapted to the dark. It's not like in Splinter Cell where it's like "Now you see me, now you don't!".
I kinda felt sorry for him until he pulled the knife out, then I was like "GET THAT MOTHERFUCKER!"
