The Ultima runner was kinda funny tbh
Ultima Runner is really quiet and keeps doing that upward inflection thing with their voice. :pwn: [editline]11th January 2018[/editline] Valley Girl Goth ASMR
She actually doesn't like that on her normal streams. She's either nervous or taking the piss.
i missed everything, are there any great runs i should check out?
i missed everything, are there any great runs i should check out?
Yea seconding the Yoshi's Island race suggestion. It was a really great race with a lot of ridiculous moments, horrifying deaths, and great consistent commentary. The runners were all really cool too and made effort to go for ridiculous tricks instead of just trying to play it safe whenever they got in the lead (like i said before, 1:05:50 - 1:10:00 was amazing). It was also free of any painful awkward moments so that's always a bonus for an AGDQ run. granted tho it was also the only thing I've watched so far lol. if anyone else has any other recommendations plz let me know, thxxx

Man, Warm Ham absolutely killed the End is Nigh.
God the End is Nigh was such a good run, A* commentary AND a dev interview Everyone needs to at least listen to the OST, it's my favourite Ridiculon work
I wish we had moments like this in again
I just watched the "run" of Enviro-Bear 2000 on the VoD and holy shit, that was amazing. So much fun being had, I can't believe this is GDQ. [editline]11th January 2018[/editline] Catching up on the awful games block and I am laughing my ass off. I love this.
That Super Monkey Ball run was insane already, but the TASBot run just after was incredible.
megaman runner button mashes with his teeth wth
Hey, it seems to be working for him. I'm going to have to give it a try sometime, try to figure out the particulars.
megaman runner button mashes with his teeth wth
mouthstrats
It's like they're determined to ruin that animation cel. Also that was a pretty good Mega Man relay race.
Hey, it seems to be working for him. I'm going to have to give it a try sometime, try to figure out the particulars.
I do it sometimes to beat torture scenes in games like MGS, simply because of some minor nerve damage prevents me from mashing buttons at hyper speed. Also a good way to ruin buttons on your controller so don't do it.
I finally caught up and saw the VoD for the Monkey Ball TAS run. Holy shit TAS runners must drive legitimate runners insane when they manage to reverse engineer systems previously considered ironclad for verification :v:

wtf was that fat dude talking about???
That's what you get when you reduce the audience by making chat sub only. Less viewers = less donations.
hasn't it had a good viewer count tho. i see it at 135k right now. i think it's due to the lack of enticing bids more than anything else. kill/save the animals alone brought almost 800k last agdq . undertale bids gave more than 300k. that's over a million from 2 games (both which were the grand finale) neither of those (especially super metroid) are present. considering how much money that makes it's no surprise the lack of it's presence = less money [editline]12th January 2018[/editline] and it hit a mil sooner than agdq 2017 in spite of that anyway
No chat means the viewers aren't as invested in the stream. I also think GDQ does a bad job of advertising runs and incentives. Shit just comes up sporadically. The schedule lists barely anything other than game, runner and time estimate. In the past the schedule would list incentives as well, and the blocks like "spooky games done quick". Considering how ~~professional~~ GDQ is trying to be, they do a really, really, really, really shit job at being professional entertainment.
