I always wondered, why do people like Final Cut so much more than Adobe Premiere?
Made by Apple.
"What would an Apple city be like?" :v:
Bitches and booze all around and big bill boards with my face on it
I know it's weird, but does anyone else think this guy looks like a younger Ben Linus?
TF2's economy is overly expensive, even if you aren't buying items with money, and has spawned a large community that cares about hats more than the actual game. They abandoned Left 4 Dead after 1 content update after promising to release several free updates (though they later released The Sacrifice), and released Left 4 Dead 2 with content that didn't necessarily warrant a sequel. On the PC, they've put all campaigns from L4D1 into L4D2 for free, but are still selling L4D1 for the same price as L4D2 despite all its content being added into the latter game. If you buy a Valve game for PC, it forces you to install Steam if you haven't already (which people complain about Origin doing, but never Valve). I mean, they're a good company, but they aren't flawless.
There are plenty of good reasons to feel unsure about or dislike Valve. That said, aside from the lack of support for L4D1 despite Valve's promises, your arguments here are not very good. Especially the TF2 arguments. I've put absolutely no money into the game, but I have actually made money selling stuff. It's not even difficult, it just takes time. If you want to go after Steam for removing what was left of the "used" market for PC games, that is a valid complaint (though there are arguments against it), but what you've got here is "meh" at best.

For a second I thought "RED camera support" was about it not supporting the color red. [sub]My iphone doesn't properly capture the color red. Purples will look bluish.[/sub]
I always wondered, why do people like Final Cut so much more than Adobe Premiere?
It's a lot better or it was the latest updates have made it pretty bad.
I went to their website once and it told me their cheapest computer costs $1200 kiss my ass
I went to their website once and it told me their cheapest computer costs $1200 kiss my ass
My custom pc costs that much. Granted 150 of that was for a monitor.
My custom pc costs that much. Granted 150 of that was for a monitor.
But it is probably much more powerful than the $1200 mac though.
I've met people like this, I have a problem with fanboyism of any kind. I mean, I use a mac and an iPhone myself, but I'm very aware of the issues. That being said, I've never had any major issues with an apple product. They work well for me and I enjoy using them.

That's more of a personal peeve on my end. But as I said, Valve isn't perfect. I feel like the other points I've made about the Left 4 Dead games and the forced service installation are valid points that people don't seem to think about when they imply that Valve is "unhateable", as bluesky did in his post.
But it is probably much more powerful than the $1200 mac though.
So does mine. Except mine has a gtx 570 and 24" monitor, not an intel 3000
