Isn't this the last season?
"Lucas expects the series to run for four or five years, but will still produce 100 episodes regardless of ratings." But I've read if the rating are good enough they may continue the show.
They still make this? I remember seeing this on cartoon network like 5 or 6 years ago.
Its the 5th season, so yes that would have been 5 years.
I made a thread for us and such. http://facepunch.com/showthread.php?t=1208375
They kill of Adi Gallia instead of fixing that bullshit retcon of her having a cousin that looks like her. Oh and Adi was also Grevious's biggest kill in the EU, now he has nothing. At least Maul dies in the middle of this season along with Savage.
I remember when this was 2d animation and fucking awesome, last time I heard of it it became some childish cg bs.
The thing with Lucas is that he doesn't like people outshining him and his ideas, and he either retcons them, or causes them to just fade away through decommisioning their series. Like the commandoes had their novel and possibly game sequels canceled because he thought they would get in the way of this cgi series. Oh and the Mandaloreans never really winning seems to be a theme. Him basing the clones off of them seems to be a bit of an insult, imo. Just saying, it seems like assigning this proud warrior people, to be grown in jars and thrown at the enemy in mass, seems kind of wrong. Just saying, by cloning them, he's saying that their lives have no value. [editline]28th August 2012[/editline] He also raped kotor 2 and intentionally shelved it from digital release for the longest time. [editline]28th August 2012[/editline] Like, he wants the jedi's to be this perfect, flawless people. But his entire fucking series is based on the idea that great men fall and make mistakes.
I remember when this was 2d animation and fucking awesome, last time I heard of it it became some childish cg bs.
The CG animation is a little bit cartoony but it doesn't stop the series from being badass. The action scenes are pretty good and the writing is pretty good. A lot of the stuff they write in is extremely lore friendly, including Mandalorians.
Holy crap, I always sorta shoved this series aside because I thought it would be more for kids. This looks bad ass. I guess it's just another series I have to add to my list.
Revan was originally planned to appear in the Clone Wars episode "Ghosts of Mortis', they even had a 3D model made [t]http://images4.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20120612164242/starwars/images/4/49/Darth_Revan_Clone_Wars.jpg[/t] Don't know why the scene was cut. Edit: George Lucas wanted it cut because he change his mind.
Aww what, that would have been amazing! I'd get right back into the show after seeing that!
I just watched the Episode Commentary Video, it was because George Lucas changed his mind at the end about the scene they were in.
Oh hey don't take that dumb in the wrong way. I just found it dumb that George cut that out.
holy shit mandalorians he even has the darksaber oh boy all of this EU lore going on in the show makes me squee! anyways i want them to have a few episodes devoted to the "Old Republic" era, talking about Revan during the Mandalorian wars and stuff.

I want to see more of the Mandalorians in the Old Republic era.
holy shit it even has robot leg darth maul all it needs now is a cameo by HK-47 (I'd imagine he's still around seeing as he was in Star Wars Galaxies, which took place over 4000 years after KotOR) [editline]28th August 2012[/editline] oh boy what if it shows off Canderous's personal story, showing how he became [sp]Mandalore[/sp] oh god lucas yes this show is perfect
Still gotta finish Season 4...
I use to hate this show but as the years have gone by it surprised me by how dark some of the episodes where, almost to the point of being inappropriate for young children.
Can someone tell me how exactly this show turned good? Honestly i dont know whether i should give it another chance or not right now because the movie was horrendous and the first season (what i saw of it at least) was awful as well.
They still have a couple 'Kiddy Episodes' in a season, but they're not that bad if you want to take a break from some of the serious stuff.
I hope season 5 has some clone focused episodes. My favorite episodes are the ones focused on the clones. Rex is pretty awesome.
I hope season 5 has some clone focused episodes. My favorite episodes are the ones focused on the clones. Oh boy I didnt even know this show existed in german! Awesome, I know what I'm gonna be watching in the next few weeks!
Is that guy on the left Prince Xizor from Shadows of the Empire?
Well it can't be that bad if it got Cyborg Darth Maul to be canon...
Is that guy on the left Prince Xizor from Shadows of the Empire?
I think it might be someone of the same species, but I don't think it is him.
Well it can't be that bad if it got Cyborg Darth Maul to be canon...
remember the first policy of the star wars universe. everything is canon
remember the first policy of the star wars universe. everything is canon
The cyborg Darth Maul was not canon before Clone Wars showed him. The Comic he originally showed up in was classified as non-canon. http://starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Old_Wounds Read the Behind the Scenes section.
Is this the same series as the cartoon that introduced Grievous? cause that shit was rad
The biggest problem with the cartoon is that a lot of the scenes made so little sense, especially in the first episode. Like the scene where a gunship full of Arc Troopers takes a missile to the rear, crashes along the ground on a really long stretch for a pretty long time really fast and then the passengers pop their heads out a second after it stops. Or when Anakin flies by Obi-Wans head and narrowly avoids clipping his head off by a few metres and noone is surprised. Or when Clones disembark from gunships en mass in a battle in sandy open landscape metres away from the droid army, and then attack the Droid mass by running rambo style at them and charging. They charge huge metal robots with rifles and no bayonets or close combat weapons of the sort. Really? Then a stupid giant flying jack hammer hovers over the battlefield at a snails pace, and everyone just stops and does nothing to look at it while it thumps their asses into the sky. What the hell happened to the gunships? how does Mace Windu jump about 10 kilometres vertically out of it right in front of a kid he never could have seen on a peak so far away? he isn't concerned either when he just leaves him far from civilization in the middle of a desert climate. Right after drinking some of his water. And then you've got the Arc Trooper Sergeant that orders out his men to stand in open ground to take fire off the guy with the missile launcher that can seemingly fire a missile every half second without reloading. The cartoon was so overrated. There's being "that guy" at the Cinema, picking out the problems with films like a moron, and then there's just flat mistakes that look really stupid.

Even the movies were pretty fucking retarded. I watched some of them. So Luke goes to a giant swamp just because he saw some hallucination? And then the greatest jedi master he was looking for was some tiny stupid frog? And then it fucking lifts a ship! Then they spend the rest of the movie lifting rocks. How am I supposed to believe it would help him fight Darth Vader? It just goes on forever. I cannot believe how overrated those stupid movies have become.
I use to hate this show but as the years have gone by it surprised me by how dark some of the episodes where, almost to the point of being inappropriate for young children.
There is a scene in Season 4 if I remember correctly where a female Mandalorian cops a feel on Osaka's ass. (Well, it was more of a tap on the ass.) :v:
