I've been playing this game for about three hours (15th of Dec) and i really am loving it right now.
Just meeting the people you work with and then the first customer was enough to make me go "Yeah, i'm gonna have a good time". Loads of stuff to read up on, they have crafted a very interesting world.
just beat the game and got the good ending. what an amazing game

LATE AGAIN BOY
Just played the demo and was very impressed. I wouldn't be surprised if it becomes the next wildly popular indie game. I'm starting to see a trend in games that take the mundane and turn them into fun gameplay mechanics, and I think its great.

do you know how many endings there are? I assumed there were things you could miss out on in a play through but the ending would be the same unless you didn't pay your rent
6 good endings and 1 bad i think
How do you even wind up getting different endings? It's not like there are any dialog choices.
Achievements are broke right now, which sucks because they kinda let me know which ending I got.
I picked up this game after playing through the Demo and oh my gooooosh it's so good.
I love the how quirky yet interesting the writing is. Soundtrack is solid too.
I actually found out about this game through Steam's discovery queue, go figure. Since then I've been dying to play it. I'm hearing nothing but amazing things. But even so, I'm probably gonna have to wait for the next big steam sale, or whenever it actually gets discounted.
I love games in that kind of style like "You're in some strange intriguing setting but you're doing something really ordinary." Like fantasy games where you run an item shop and stuff.
I feel like I'm stupid, I canmt seem to figure out how to make Big drinks. Can anybody help a ameteur bartender out?
double the ingredients
Wow it's so obvious... I am a fool.
[sp]i couldn't figure out a drink for a good friend, and missed the 3rd night flawless bonus[/sp]

[sp]Piano Man, isn't it?[/sp]
[sp]Piano Man, isn't it?[/sp]
[sp]Yes. It was mentioned in earlier dialogue.[/sp]
So does anyone have any sort of guide to getting the various endings, or even clips of the endings themselves?
So far I've only seen the ending where [sp]you reconnect with the sister of your girlfriend, have a nice New Years Eve, and then she sleeps over at your place[/sp].

Second to last :(
Prepurchased this over a year ago, and just finished my first playthrough after a single 6 hour sitting. Pretty damn good, and some of the best writing I've had the pleasure of playing through in a game like this. Ending leaves a bit to be desired but it was pretty great overall.
Did you rush through it or are you just a really fast reader?
I'm 11 hours in and I'm only on day 17 if I remember correctly.

If you haven't started NG+ yet, you will be given a hint on how to get the other endings when starting NG+.
I played the demo and didn't get it, writing seemed pretty boring too. Is there more to this?

if you find a game like this boring, it's probably because you find visual novels in general boring.
but to answer your question, i'm a few nights in and i haven't seen anything more yet, although some orders were pretty vague and some orders pretty much require you to think back to previous dialogue, kinda makes me wish there was a log i could look at or something.
i can appreciate a game like this because some VNs are ALL story, at least this one has some actual gameplay (that's comparable to papers please).
I found out there's the Prologue demo yesterday. How important is that?
[sp]Is that the cause of the aftermath that Gil-Bro had to clean up on the first day?[/sp]
does anything happen if you try to [sp]serve customers glitched drinks[/sp]?
Been playing for the last few days. Such a great game. Every time a gem like this comes out, I'm baffled by how much better a small indie studio can portray realistic and relatable characters than big studios like Ubisoft can.
I relate to Jill so hard it's not even funny.
I'll also chime in saying that Jill is one of my favorite protagonists as of late.
I just realized this thread isn't in General Games Discussions. Why? It's literally a general thread but in the videos subforum?
