I'm actually kind of happy that he incidentally helped them find a bug in the system. It's always nice when things like that happen because they can sort it out!
That pesky bug that comes up every time people get 10 of every single possible thing on their burgers lol
They've redone 90% of their stores at least twice (some more) within ten years, overhauled their menu, and improved the taste of their food.
There's no way they would have been able to stay in business after all the bad publicity within the last two decades. IMO McDonald's has really stepped up their game.
Yeah, I haven't been there in years, and last I remember their lettuce was gross white mush instead of food. This looked like actual lettuce.
Is McDonald's actually a decent place to eat now? Been MANY years since I've tried.
That looks damn disgusting

Worked at a McDonald's for a summer 2-3 years ago. The grilled chicken is legit chicken, salads are no less fresh than if you bought it at a store, deep fried stuff (nuggets, strips, etc) is the same story.
Yeah, McDonald's is a decent place to grab a quick bite to eat. It's nothing fancy despite their outward appearance, but it's decent food.
Too bad the McDonalds around where I live is still a shitshack
Went there like 3 months ago and I ordered a milkshake and the syrup they use for it wasn't even mixed properly
If mine was like this I'd totally eat there

that completely depends from place to place
Okay, that made me really hungry, I'd love to order something like that aswell.

When did McDonald's get so modernized and appetizing?
to be perfectly honest i think this video was just a publicity stunt made by McDonalds just to get people to think these same thoughts specifically.
like, cmon, do actual people really put that kind of music in a video like this? it just sounds so... corporate.
When did McDonald's get so modernized and appetizing?
when he went to one of the like 3 stores in orange county offering this feature
I just love how it ended up looking at the end. It looks like a quasi-salad.
The side of lettuce and tomato appears to be a salad. Like, an honest to god salad.

it would be incredibly easy (and cheap) to hire a completely random YouTuber to film this and upload it. it's probably some suit's cousin or friend.
seriously, this is exactly the way companies are trying to "think outside of the box" to reach new consumers and its completely low risk with nothing but potential.
maybe i'm just too cynical from marketing classes..
He more or less got ten burgers' worth of toppings for $25...
Can someone figure out how much cheaper that is than buying ten individual burgers?

Aren't burgers on the dollar menu?
They forgot the pickles!
I love how he found a bug in the piece of shit POS system in the process. Give him a medal for that.

I think that you may be over thinking this video a little bit.
I can definitely see McDonalds using this video to market themselves (like they might post it on their Facebook or something), but I highly doubt they commissioned the video.
Say what you want about McDonalds, but this guy placed an absurd order for an absurd amount of food and not only did they deliver, it was still under $25. Go to Wal Mart and buy everything that he just got it would definitely cost you more than that, and then you have to go home and prep it, cook it, clean your dishes afterwards...
let me just say Thank you, McDonalds
And I thought I was being clever ordering McGangbangs to get a filling meal at McDonalds.
I wonder what the person who had to make this burger was thinking when he/she got the order.
If they were anything like the employee's at the McDonalds here they'd be asking for his crucifixion.
Most McDs here in Europe are pretty damn good if you don't go to the ones with crowded drive-throughs and near highways.
Take away the tomatoes and I would eat that.

I'm still waiting for the day they just put it right on the menu, obviously they'd never name it the McGangBang but i'm sure some day it will be there
He looks like you'd expect.
I haven't been inside of a McDonalds in upwards of ten years. I grabbed a burger from there a couple of days ago and was pretty surprised with how good it was. Are those machines common in them now?

depends on town/state/country but for florida
$2.58 For 2 cheeseburgers and $4.89 for fries and coke included with 2 cheeseburgers
so if you get one meal and the rest are just plain cheeseburgers it's $15.21
this does not include the extra price of toppings
marketing class means you are thinking the most basic shit relating to it, which is barely how it works in actuality.
arguments about how fresh the food looks are p much ignorable due to how the people probably would have seen the order and just gone "fuck it lets have some fun" due to the sheer amount of shit in the order
to be honest I think their attitude was determined by the fact they knew he was recording, and he likely explained more about what he was doing and how many views he gets on videos, while they were making it. They hammed it up a bit because they knew they'd be seen (and judged)- If a video of you dealing with a quirky customer goes viral you bet your ass corporate will see it, and potentially give you a bonus/raise/promotion if you were super awesome, or (more likely) fire you for being a grumpy asshole
also on the pricing, extra (X) costs ridiculous amounts compared to the rest of the burger. just adding extra cheese is like $.50/slice
alsoalso found the pricing bug, it was just the american cheese
When did McDonald's get so modernized and appetizing?
Contrary to popular belief, after the whole "Supersize Me" thing, McDonalds got really serious about changing the way they do food. I still prefer Burger King, but McDonalds far outpaces BK in being modern.

It's called royalty free music.
Almost all the "generic", or as you put it, "corporate" music people put in videos sounds like this.
