smash bros for example would become a single player game, thats only about half the fun one could get out of it.
IIRC PPSSPP supports online play, so this could get it too.
i always used no$gba over desmume.
Why is this titled "Nintendo is finished"?
because nintendo is the only one in the industry that releases 100% finished unbroken titles
I absolutely love Gerudo Valley's soundtrack, always have and always will. I remember watching my older sister play (I was too young to be any good at OoT back when it was new) and when she stumbled upon Gerudo Valley, I'd always load my save (basically a copy of hers) and just sit there all the time.

Zelda is always gonna be special to me, listening to all these soundtracks and it's just so nostalgic. It pretty much teleports me back to when I was a kid watching my sister play.
Not anymore lol. Smash Bros had to be patched.
It wasn't completely broken like some other AAA games, just a few weird small glitches, nothing game breaking.
It wasn't completely broken like some other AAA games, just a few weird small glitches, nothing game breaking.
I'd say the glitch where playing Peach in For Glory getting you banned was a pretty big glitch.
Most emulators let you change the internal rendering resolution, making 3D games look awesome, like this And this is from PCSX2 set to run at 1080p, the games look almost as good as if they were just HD remakes
I have PPSSPP on Android and I upscale all my PSP games to 1080p. Loco Roco looks fantastic and it gets rid of all the aliasing problems the original had.
Do you sincerely think its legal to download ROMS if you own a physical copy of the game? http://www.nintendo.com/corp/legal.jsp
who the fuck cares just download them anyway
Nintendo is far enough above water that it most likely doesn't impact them that much, if at all. The modern american doesn't even know about emulators, and buy the consoles because of that reason. Even if Nintendo complains about emulating, it would be like like when musicians claim they're loosing millions on the news thanks to software piracy, then return to their multi-million dollar mansions to sip on a cold one.
The emulation's still rough, but who knows, if they ever manage to get Smash Bros. 4 3DS running at a consistent 60 FPS on an emulator then I imagine they've basically done all that one could possibly do in regards to performance optimization for the hardware.
I'd say the glitch where playing Peach in For Glory getting you banned was a pretty big glitch.
Which, in their defence, is a lot harder to detect pre-release. Some bugs that are easy to detect, however, get through often, with other games.
Porting from x86 to ARM is not that easy.
As far as I know the emulator can currently emulate 3DS games only using an interpreter, which means it should be possible to compile the emulator to any platform provided the necessary libraries are available as well. The downside is that the interpreter is really slow regardless of the architecture. Once the developers have started coding a JIT compiler the games should become playable in terms of speed, although this usually requires to utilize architecture-specific features to improve performance the most. Most DS emulators I've seen on Android run really slowly, but Drastic actually runs most of the games in full speed with capable hardware, most likely due to how much it utilizes ARM-specific features such as NEON compared to other DS emulators which are usually straight ports of the DESmuME emulator. Another thing to note is that 3DS has an ARM CPU as well so the emulator, if it's properly optimized, could be faster on an ARM device (such as an Android tablet/phone) than an x86 device of otherwise equal specs.

It's also not a porn game.
Dude Senran Kagura is coming to the states (if that's the one I'm thinking of). It's also not a porn game.
Not explicitly, but with so much T&A as a heavily-pushed, primary selling point, I see more people talking waifus about the series than the gameplay.

HOLY FUCK. Just fucking god damn 2-3 weeks ago the most these guy managed was to get that triforce on the bottom screen to appear upside down on the edge of the screen at fucking 2 fps. Long way to go but holy fuck this is some insane improvements. Just the fact they already have SO much rendered and actually able to play it without it just blowing up is fucking unreal.
