• Happiest ATM in the world

The credit union I deposit my shit to has a walk-up and a drive though ATM. And literally the only difference is that it's easier for me to swing by and don't have to find parking and walk up and wait in line. It's just faster and convenient to use the drive though. Honestly why is this a thing?
So getting fatter and lazier is convenient? Gee, didn't know that.
I probably do more than you in a day than you do in ten months and I use drive through ATMs
Wow, America is so ridiculous. I mean, drive-thru ATMs, really? Who would want to live anywhere with this? The correct term is drive-thru automated banking machine, or drive-thru ABM, get it right stupid Americans!
Not really, ATMs are useful, now drive-thru ATMs make no sense.
What if you need to get something from an ATM while driving somewhere?
Not really, ATMs are useful, now drive-thru ATMs make no sense.
Give me one reason why.
I've never seen drive-through ATMs in Sweden before but frankly I'd love to have them around. Looks convenient and saves the trouble and time of having to look for a parking spot first.
The concept of a drive through ATM is hilarious to me.
Have you ever been to a bank?
So we move queues outside where we can add cars to the people that are queueing, more pollution etc. etc. I can think of so many reason why this is a bad idea, let alone lazy. Besides how busy are banks abroad? I've never waited more than 5 mins to get served.
Just how lazy do you have to be.
Actually having to park just to get money when you're on the way to somewhere is a pain in the ass, these would be great
Never seen them before in England.
Amazing! I bet you guys don't even have reeses either lol
Around here, banks close between 5 and 6pm. It's not that we're lazy, but it's incredibly convenient not having to wait until the banks open. Everyone goes to a bank for different reasons, but when I want to just get money and go, I use the ATM, walking or driving.
Amazing! I bet you guys don't even have reeses either lol
actually we only got them last year. And holy fuck they are good.
Just how lazy do you have to be.
I don't use the drive through atm, I use the one on the side of the building. But it's convienient for people who have jobs.
I've seen these around the world? Not sure what the problem is.
Amazing! I bet you guys don't even have reeses either lol
We have our own Peanut Butter Cups!
you dinks complaining about their existence are ridiculous. You drive up, you hit a button that says 'deposit' or 'withdraw', paper goes in/out, and you leave before you'd have parked and entered the building. I'd rather go in if there's more than a few cars sitting there, but there's usually an open one just waiting for you only time it's stupid is if someone actually has some sort of actual banking to do and they use the only available atm, causing a line because everyone else was expecting to fling papers and run. most people in line would then drive around and park, or just leave because they didn't have the time for it. I don't think it's good etiquette to show up without having signed your checks already, waste of everybody's time I also hate the kind of people who order $80 worth of taco bell in the drive thru, god damn
im american and drive thru atms made me fat [editline]22nd April 2013[/editline] also, drive thru fast food? why not walk in? walk in meals are 100% healthier! duh!!
Drive through ATMs do not replace other services, it is just an additional service. You can still go in or use a walk up ATM. Saying banks in America are somehow bad for providing more options seems odd to me.

(There's a sliding wall inside that cordons off the ABMs, the outer doors remain unlocked)
Nor scotland, hm.
Not surprised you folks dont value cash you'd just rip the thing off the wall and sell it for scrap.
The reason you won't see these in Britain (and probably much of Europe as well) is because it's rare to find a bank outside of a town/city centre, which are horrible to drive through at the best of times.
And I thought America couldn't get any lazier... Fucking drivethrough everything over there. Wouldn't want to live there.
cool you can stay where you are then i doubt anyone here would complain sure are a lot of retarded posts in this thread
