This thread made me want to play more Hatoful Boyfriend.
I used to have 2 old cockatiels that I got from a furniture store because the new owner didn't want them. Joe and pearl. Joe was a mean looking bird who didn't have a tail and would bite holes in your fingers if you invaded his cage, but once he came out, he would be super friendly and steal my food, and sit on my shoulder, and stuff like that. He could say pretty bird and whistle a little, but he died a few months ago, so I got a blue parakeet to keep pearl company. Named him piplup, and he mimics pearl and whistles like me a little. He doesn't like me enough to sit on my finger, and pearl doesn't usually, but she sucks at flying so after she crashes into a wall she lets me pick her up and she hangs out with me for a while after.
