And the AK. Just listen to it, sounds like a BB gun.
Also, I was recently playing Far Cry Instincts on my Xbox, and even then it was incredibly easy to just run and gun. Easier than staying stealth actually. You could just spray dual MP5's everywhere, then pick up the one or two medkits every area has. FC2 as well. Unless you were using the dart rifle, the enemy's laser telescope vision would instantly pinpoint your location, then you had no choice but to go home to M249 town. Then just pop one of your little health syringes and you're back up to full health (come to think of it, there were very few times I legitimately died during a firefight in FC2.)
Your guys' nostalgia goggles are fogging up.

Car Fry 3 is a worst-person shooter set in Honolulu. The player assumes the role of Adrian Brody, and must shoot people of various ethnicities in order to find his sadomasochistic concubine Khloe Kardashian. Although the game's universe is fixated in reality, Brody can survive and recover from extensive physical trauma such as bullet wounds and close-range explosions, but it is never explained why in-game.
Underlying themes are pervasive in the game's plot. Brody's fragile state of mind is reflected in his imaginary companion who he regularly talks aloud to, and towards the end of the game, Khloe reveals it to Broday that she too is a figment of his imagination.

They need to bring back all the scary moments that were in Far Cry.

Like when you decided to swim around in the water on the first level and out of fucking nowhere a shark starts nibbling on your flesh.
It's funny how they make a Colt pistol sound like it has a silencer on it.
It's almost like the only part of the firing you hear is the mechanisms in the gun moving around. Not the whole actual explosion that fires the bullet.
Sounds kind of...stupid.
They showed in the first gameplay trailer that there will be silenced weapons so you can sneak around. I think it will be a must on the harder difficulties
I like the gun sounds that they've decided to use. If any of you have ever shot an AK, or .45 you'd know that they are fairly accurate firing sounds. The AK has a very loud metallic twang (Almost like a typewriter) with that explosive punch and a .45 has a very deep thud to it.
Overall the game looks extremely promising. I really enjoyed FC2 and the options for completing missions; as long as the pinpoint laser accuracy of AI detection is more realistic in this one I don't think I'll have complaints. FC2's biggest problem was that they tried too hard to balance out calmness and action; they didn't want to make you drive for 10 minutes to get to each objective, so they threw in a bunch of "patrols" that would chase you to the moon and back.
Old stranded shipwrecks on a tropical island? Brings back memories of the first FarCry. I loved that game.
I'm trying to find that mod by the way. I'll post a link if I can get it.

Any Colt gun shouldn't sound like a Beretta with a silencer attached to it.
I'm glad the enemies actually DIE
Whats funny is that they sound rather similar to how they did in FC2
AK47 is about the same, just a bit quieter. And the FC3 colt sounded like the FC2 desert eagle.
The fucking star .45 blew out my goddamn headphones everytime I used it, and even in this video they still fizzle.
God damn
Dylans Far Cry 2 Realism Mod v1.1
Place both patch files in Program Files/Ubisoft/Far Cry 2/Data_Win32.
For Steam users it will be under Program Files/Steam/SteamApps/(either Common or "Your Steam Name")/farcry2/Data_win32
MAKE SURE YOU BACKUP YOUR ORIGINAL PATCH.DAT AND PATCH.FAT
I AM NOT FUCKING RESPONSIBLE IF YOU FUCK UP YOUR GAME AND FORGOT TO BACKUP THE PATCH FILES.

This is designed to work with the Fortunes Pack, I don't know if it will work with the vanilla game. Or the Steam game, for that matter.
This mod changes the damage multipliers to make sure that the nignog with the T-shirt on does not take 15 rounds of 7.62 before he notices you.
Now, hitting someone twice with just about any weapon kills them.
I also tweaked the amount of ammo that you recieve from ammo upgrades (Pistol Belt, Marksmans Bandolier, etc)
You now get 24 extra pistol rounds
120 extra rounds for Light Assault weapons like the MAC10 and Uzi
48 extra shotgun shells
120 extra rounds with Assault rifles like the AK47 and G3
40 extra rounds for Sniper Rifles like the left handed, bottom loading Springfield
15 extra darts for the Dart Rifle
3 extra rockets for the CG/RPG
2 extra frag grenades/molotovs
12 extra M79 grenades
4 extra IEDs
24 extra MGL140 grenades
400 extra MG rounds
Only problem is that you have to buy the weapon ammo kit for it to work.
Also, weapons degrade 200% slower when the Repair Manual is purchased.
The pack also includes "Gibbed" Rick's FC2 modding tools. They are not mine, they are his.
Now, get out there and enjoy your Africa-based compact car and pickup truck simulator!

Who gives a flying fuck if it looks like Call of Duty or not? Personally, I liked Modern Warfare and I don't think its a problem if this game looks a bit like Call of Duty.
