Yeah, same here. I actually rather liked Alex Mercer's character. It's not like he was a deep character or anything, I just thought he seemed like a badass.

Kind of like Garrett from Thief, just the kind of "I don't give a fuck" attitude. It worked because they didn't make the point of adding a morality meter or any bullshit for if you decided to or accidentally slaughtered a bunch of civilians.

I can tell more about the portal 2 coop bots from a 1 minute trailer than i can about alex mercer in this WHOLE thing. and the coop bots dont even have a face....
