so its advance warfare but slower paced? really shitty imo, halo should stick to the pace that made the earlier ones so good (also kills streaks what the fuck).
Seriously, why even re-record the announcer? It's the same guy saying the same things like he always has, just use the same sound files. It sounds really weird that you can tell it's been re-recorded.
This looks awful honestly. The graphics and overall feel of the game looks last-gen. This is supposed to be the Xbox's flagship, system-selling franchise.
i'm tired of games thinking more is better
Please stop, it's already dead. Why do you have to do this to its corpse?
Iron sights in Halo, 343 literally has no idea what they are doing, its looking more like CoD every time, 4 was kinda there but now they actually don't give a shit and are going nuts with it
Halo died when Bungie said it did, I don't know what this shite is
Fucking what the fuck happened to Halo god damn. I used to love the hell out of the series, I pumped uncountable hours into the first two games and Halo 3 was a really nice bow on top of the original trilogy and I read all the books but there comes a point where it's like what the fuck are you doing??
Reach was the last Halo I gave a fuck about and I'm glad I stopped there because playing the new trilogy would have really soured the whole franchise for me.
well atleast they're making the good halo games again as well
The weapons look and sound fucking retarded, what did they do to the classic AR
It honestly feels like they are trying really really hard to piss on everything that Bungie spent a long time building up and creating
Not a fan of the iron sights at all.
I don't understand why people are hating on it, if you're so against it could you please explain why, at least?
If I was in charge of 343, I would add more blood and gore to the game (like a grenade should be able to blow you hands or feet off) or just make wounds look better and leave the gameplay alone

Reading the first page I found a ton of reasons.
I remember being happy that Halo would continue despite Bungie finishing up after Halo Reach.
Now I wish they really did just end it all there and didn't have 343 continue to run it into the ground. Would have been best to end it on a high note.
why the fuck do Spartans even need ironsights? the whole purpose of the weapons and the spartan was so they could use the hud in their helmets to aim from the hip
why did they even deviate from reach/3, they had such a good thing going with those mechanics
Different developers who don't know how to make Halo games.
Reading the first page I found a ton of reasons.
Iron sights, camp sounding announcer, killstreaks?
That's all I could see.
Iron sights, camp sounding announcer, killstreaks?

Iron Sights, camp sounding announcer, kill streaks, the jet boosters which really aren't needed.
Also add on all the stuff that was wrong with Halo 4.

There is a reason why Halo 4's multiplayer lost a lot of players within the first 2 months or so compared to Reach and Halo 3.
As someone who has never played halo and hasn't touched CoD since 4 this looks to be the exact same game as Advanced Warfare
But at least Halo 2 multiplayer, in it's original glory, is coming back. Why can't it be on PC!?:suicide:
What the fuck are you guys on
I thought that looked pretty damn great and it honestly looks like a lot of fun
The new game doesn't have to be a carbon copy of Halo CE to be good, you know. The additions look like they enhance the game, not take away from it. More maneuverability on a halo framework sounds pretty damn good to me. You guys need to sit back and take it for what it is, not focusing on who is making it.
Considering how great the Master Cheif collection is, I don't doubt that 343 are capable of making a pretty good multiplayer experience. It seems to have learned from the faults of Halo 4 at the very least.
ironsights (known as smart scope) are a optional ability, if you dont use them it acts like regular halo shooting. it also unzooms whenever you get shot. the ony difference between regular and smart scope is just a better reticle
ignorance is bliss though right
Reading the first page I found a ton of reasons.
Not really. Here's the only actual reasons I could find people are giving on the last page. Everything else was just "UGH IT SUCKS"
How on earth did they manage to make the Halo announcer sound so.. CAMP. It was literally perfect, why did they even think about changing it.

They added iron sights to every weapon. It literally is no longer an arena shooter. One of the core, THE CORE MECHANIC that defines an arena shooter, they homogenized.

The weapons look and sound fucking retarded, what did they do to the classic AR

I agree on the first one, I don't understand why ironsights suddenly make a game bad (it doesn't), and I don't think the weapons sound bad at all. It sounds like people are just cherry picking to look for problems and assuming its bad because it isn't being made by bungie.
The "iron sights" work like the Sniper and BR, when you get hit, you get knocked out of them.
ironsights (known as smart scope) are a optional ability, if you dont use them it acts like regular halo shooting. it also unzooms whenever you get shot. the ony difference between regular and smart scope is just a better reticle

Exactly.
The iron sights look like a nice addition, the gunplay looks exactly like it otherwise would if you hipfire. The core looks like it plays exactly like Halo with just some tweaks and a few variables added on top. Why is this a problem again?
My hype just went down
If I wanted to play Halo 3, I would play Halo 3.
Unlike some of you I'm not afraid of change.
You guys are acting like it should be like COD, never changing.

They are going in the wrong direction, some of the features are literally carbon copied from the new CoD too.
Change is good, but losing the entire original feel of the franchise is wrong, as it not only destroys originality but it also isolates the fanbase.

ikr, they aren't even traditional fucking iron sights. Functionally it's exactly the same as the zoom that's been in since Halo 2. You can just shoot while you do it now, and I expect the zoom level will be greatly decreased for most weapons compared to Halo 2-4's binoculars. Personally, I think the old style "simple zoom" on weapons like the AR is really cool. You descope from being shot, and hipfire is un-fucking-altered. The mobility is at odds with what Halo has been before, but Halo's been what it's been before for over ten fucking years and lots of money went into making sure that you all can access Halo as it has been before as much as possible for a very foreseeable future this gen. It will have been fourteen fucking years. Fourteen years.
Jesus.

Well, you know about as much of the subject as someone who has never played Halo and hasn't touched COD since 4.

We're not afraid of change, dude, we just don't like change that goes away from the original game concepts and design elements.
Change can be good but if it's just change for change sake then there might as well not be any at all. Improve upon what is present, don't shove in shit that's popular just to appeal to the mass market.
