I love how these shown Antifa members being against fascists and acting like crazy ass radical nationalists. And thats not a fucking cliche, videos (like tons of them) showed that their side were the agressive in the clash.
A really funny bit is how Antifa still act like showing up to fight isn't their only goal. Saw a poster on the Tim Pool cast that said to come out so you can eat food and party the fascism away, while still telling you to wear a mask. Not too many people in the clips can eat food through a mask as far as I can tell. :v:
I don't think the people identifying as "antifa" in this video are particularly intelligent tbh. The one girl yelling "fuck your capitalism" was just cringe worthy
You're still putting words in my mouth. I never said they don't or shouldn't have the right to say it's fucking garbage, or that it was never great. Of course they have the freedom to do that. I'm just wondering what would compel them to stay in America if it was never great to begin with. Maybe it's because *spoilers* [sp]America is actually a relatively fucking great place to live and they take it for granted[/sp]. A comparison between Antifa and civil rights protestors (you didn't say which one so I'm going to assume African-American civil rights protestors in the 50's-60's) is absurd at face value. As far as I can tell Antifa doesn't stand for anything. They exist as a counter-movement to what they see as neoreactionary "facism". The only common goal they exhibit is a violent (literally) reaction to what they perceive as the birth of facism. The civil rights movement was about securing equal rights for black people and ending state-sponsored discrimination. There is a clear difference between saying "There is something wrong with the state and here is how we should go about doing it" and chanting "America was never great" while vandalizing property and punching people in the face.

I'm just wondering what would compel them to stay in America if it was never great to begin with. Maybe it's because *spoilers* America is actually a relatively fucking great place to live and they take it for granted
the problem most of these protesters have is not with their own lives in this case, it's with the way other people are treated in the country. Of course, this is giving a lot of credit to antifa's message (they don't have much of one) but it really doesn't matter how dumb their message is.
and chanting "America was never great" while vandalizing property and punching people in the face
the only problem here is the violence and vandalism which they should definitely be arrested for i still don't see why saying "America was never great" is such an offensive statement the reason people get up in arms over "make america great again" is because at most points in americas past you can point to policies or social trends that were negative towards racial minorities/women/gay people/transgender people/poor people and all these other groups that are now having big pushes for representation and shit like that when you go back into the past, america was only great for a select portion of its occupants, hence the sentiments that america was never great. people will only admit it's great once it's great for everybody i still don't see how this criticism means all these protestors should just get up and leave the country they should probably stop getting in fights with people on the street though that isn't gonna solve much
