ShackTac is awesome, they're one of the few arma groups who mess around and stuff. The other are all HURR MILITARY.
Yes I'm looking at you 7th Cavalry.
(For those who don't know 7th Cavalry is trying to pretend that they are in the military so they follow every single rule and regulation. It's a bit annoying when you are in their TeamSpeak and they start talking military speak with YUS SER and that kind of stuff. Whats worse is that apparently they need to apply for "leave" if they can't attend one of their "training sessions". I can't understand how people can hold up with that shit really.)
Going to join ShackTac.
Playing with 357th back in the day, gave me some of the most atmospheric gaming moments I have ever experienced. Looking out of a fully loaded helicopter, to see two more full loaded helicopters taking you and the rest the group to a mission of some sort.
It's like those single-player scripted sequences designed to be fucking incredible; except multiplayer, in real-time, which you are actually creating yourselves as the players.
Oh god what was with the floating box?
Original games dont FADE!
ShackTac had awesome strategy tutorials. I bet they are really fucking good at regular matches too.
haha that was hilarious, worth the 40 mins
"When the lead starts flying I'm not responsible for either of you two."
"Is that a threat?"
This is genius.
So are the other guys in on it or did they just join a random server and start rping as reporters?

They're prominent members of ShackTac, and we're added in as reporters mostly for funnies; and to give the mission a bit of life, I guess.
Everyone in the video is a member of ShackTac, the mission was designed by ShackTac etc.
do you HAVE to have a mic in order to play in shacktac?
if not, i think i might join up

Been wanting to apply for a while now, finally got around to doing it.
I'd love to apply, but I'm in europe and I can't match their schedule.
I really want to find a good Arma community to join, otherwise It's just not fun to play.
ARMA 2:CO is 10$ right now, digital download on Amazon
It's so sad knowing I'll never be able to enjoy this game because lack of money for PC :(
"He's extra crispy! DEAL WITH IT!"
That entire video was just brilliant.
This video got me seriously interested in ArmA. I'll probably end up buying ArmA 2 and joining a community once I get a new PC.
I wish, in all the hundreds of hours that I've put into ArmA 2 I've only really seen people doing generic military realism. If you want to take part in events like these you have to either play with friends or join up with ShackTactical.
Isn't that pretty much what the game is? Realistic military simulator?
I really hope Bobik got to that plastic surgeon
