Regardless of the porn, furry fandom is fucking dumb. Last I checked, it was about pretending to be an animal, drawing pictures of animal people, and role playing with others pretending to be animals. That's not including, of course, the vast majority of it being about porn and sexual role play.
But that's just my opinion and aside from when I'm confronted with the garbage that comes out of it, I really don't give a shit about furries. The only ones I actively hate are the ones who shove it in my face, especially the ones who try to be subtle about it. I tell them to knock it off and don't show that shit to me, and then they show more of it to me in increasing amounts over time. Get the fuck out of my face, seriously. I have the same feelings toward gay people; I really don't care, so don't tell me about being gay and don't show me your gay shit. What the fuck.

There are these people who hate things that don't concern them (hating gay people for example, others being gay is just none of your concern, same with furries being furries) but I don't want to get told every 2 seconds about how special you are either.
Let people do what they want, as long as they don't hurt anyone else, and if you want to do something, then do it, but don't get on peoples nerves with it, then you won't have so many people getting pissed at you. (Besides people who like to troll you, or who just hate things because they are dumb)
That seems to be a really hard thing to understand.
Anyway, I for one find it amusing what comes out in these little wars, trolls against people who think they are very special. Its no matter of live and death anyway, so why not laugh a little when somebody willingly makes an ass out of himself.

Exactly my stance on the matter. I don't like furry "fandom". I don't care for it. I tell this to my friends. They keep showing me furry art and asking me to accept it anyway. People never seem to take a hint. Especially when it isn't even a hint and is more along the lines of a bright neon sign that I keep flashing above my head. :downs:
