I'm fairly sure you can find .midis of that online. You can open them in synthesia.
... I found absolutely nothing!
Yes, let's use sheet music, which can take many years to master, instead of an easy-to-use tool that can get you playing straight away! It's like saying why take photographs instead of painting scenes.
Ignore this guy, if you're not dedicated to music but still want to play the piano as a hobby, synthesia is a very good tool to help you learn specific songs.
Honestly Synthesia is of course a pretty good tool, but it's very limiting. Even the simplest nuances are also completely lost in the conversion to Synthesia (afaik). Learning to read sheet music isn't really as hard as people make it out to. For me the hardest part is definitely rhythms, but at some point you'll be able to just jump in and play with other musicians.
Of course if you have no ambitions with regards to playing piano, there's absolutely nothing wrong with Synthesia.
It's not the difference between a photograph and a painting, though, it's the difference between running around with everything on auto, simply centering any motif, and actually learning proper technique. Playing piano is playing piano, it's all about investment.
Sorry if I sound like an asshat, in the end music is about having fun, and it seems like that's what you're doing.
I'm not familiar with Synthesia, what nuances are lost?

Not so much nuances, a lot of people who write music don't like Synthesia because it simplifies music.
For instance, you lose a lot of the information such as loud or quiet sections, it also teaches you to form a habit of learning the song in a very specific time and way so you never really learn how to play it on your own and therefore can't make it your own.
At least that's what I've gotten from ranting music nuts.

it's comparable to using guitar tabs in that you're not truly reading the music as it was composed but rather a dumbed down version that you're basically timing and playing by ear; it's a bad habit to form as actual sheet music is very important when playing with others in a band or orchestra and playing as the composer intended
that being said, i have played guitar for 8 years (holy fuck lol) and cannot read sheet music well at all

also it completely blows my mind how piano players have the dexterity to play two different parts simultaneously, great work man

Basically. Afaik you also lose accents on notes, phrasing, etc. It's just not very useful if you ever want to play sheet music.
Or like the guy said above, with others.
Yeah, I'm the same way. Love playing but can't read notes at all.
the spaces are FACE there you go.

Yeah unless you're playing f clef, in which case they're ACEG. Also not very helpful considering you'll almost never stumble upon a song that doesn't go beyond the system.
The G clef centers around G, the F clef centers around F, from there it's really just playing sheet music until you don't think about it at all:

i'll never understand the amount of work it would take to be able to play the piano with 2 hands.

I started playing with one hand, it's all practice. First year of playing I learned all the major/minor scale chords and could play them along with any guitar chord sheet. Second year I started doing arpeggios and got a lot better at improvising.
Here's a bonus, completely improvised:

(just to clarify this is a joke video that's unlisted)
It would of been better if you had actually made the bass interesting instead of you just playing block chords most of the time. I suggest trying to make your cover stand out, make it your own. Currently you just have what seems like a rushed and thrown together video for views.

Someone on reddit suggested it as a joke, I threw it together in half an hour and it's permanently unlisted.

Yes, the 20 whole people who watched it. Once again, it's permanently unlisted and will probably be removed at some point. No need to be a dick about it.

Unless you're talking about the theme cover? I'm happy with how faithful to the original it sounds, go watch someone else's cover if you want a fancy version with unnecessary arpeggios instead of the chords.
[sp2]sorry I'm mad but the whole 'rushed for views' thing really pissed me off[/sp2]

First of all I'm sorry I made you upset, but as a trained piano player I was just providing some feedback. I honestly wasn't trying to be a dick, but at the time of making that post I had no idea that your video was intended as a "joke." When I watched your cover it seemed like you said yourself, you "threw it together in half an hour." So after watching it I assessed what I heard and decided to come up with feedback and a response accordingly. I will say that perhaps it has a little harsh for me to say it was rushed for views, but after seeing you get slammed with fame on your "New Vegas video," I thought the Johnny Guitar video was to gain more viewers, thus the harsh criticism. I apologize for assuming before having some hard facts.
