Bullshit aside, I have a legitimate fear of any backwards ideology based institution having it's followers become the majority in any democratic country, I'd hate to see a radical reform in a constitution to which I've become so accustomed to, in a way that may negatively impact myself and/or other's freedoms.

the whole culture sustaining bit is true; but the thing that they're forgetting is that the overwhelming majority of young muslims that are born in america are Americans first; yeah, they'll obey for their parents, but (of course this isn't backed up by any statistic, just own experience) for the most part they live highly westernized lives and see their parents as disconnected, as pretty much every single western teenager does.
the thing that's more worrying about this whole population reduction is that while it's great on one level (the latino population is sort of fucking it up by fucking like rabbits though) is that the overall implication is that it's going to be [B]substantially [/B]harder to support the social security system for us once we get into the full blown workforce. Those baby boomers are getting to the age where they need a lot of moolah to keep livin.
also italy, 1.2 birth rate? that sounds off
italians fuck like rabbits more than the latinos and irish combined lol, hell, I've got 8 aunts and uncles

Yeah, on one part, there's nothing terribly wrong morally about a muslim population increase and playing a larger role in our culture, [B]however[/B], you sure as fuck don't want Islamist states in the West. The Western Christian and Islam moral set are very, very different, and even if you go around touting you're an Atheist or whatever, you've still got a Western Christian moral set for the most part. Christian culture, historically, is better for western styled democracy... and a loss of the power in the west could be catastrophic for our government style.

sharia law definitely is, and while it may seem terrible to say, many Muslims [I]are [/I]pushing for sharia law in the west, something we really can't let happen
