Being serious I couldn't use a knife like that for fear of slicing my finger off
At least it won't contaminate you like steel ones do.
That sounded very emotional with the backing music !
Many professional chefs, restaurant chefs, or anyone who wants a really sharp knife that will stay sharp, stay true, and never dull. That's who wants a ceramic knife. EDIT: Also, terrorists who want to carry knives in their rectums, as they are not detected by metal scanners.
Mostly true, just the terrorist part is false. I'll try and find the video, but ceramic knives have metal particles inside them, so that they are still detected by metal detectors. I'd love to try a ceramic knife, but I quite like the steel knives that I use already.

Straight outta Gabe's porn folder.
Thanks for bringing my attention to this, OP. This'll make a nice gift for my mothers birthday.
I wish I had a set of butchers knifes (I cut/process meat) that used the same technology, but they would break so easily due to the amount of use they get. The knifes I'm supplied with are complete garbage and lose an edge after a few uses. My steel sharpener isn't any better, when I got a lot of shit to process my wrists ache from the amount of pressure I have to apply to get a basic cut. Shit a good steal knife for what I do costs like 100-300 dollars alone depending on the brand. A proper set will set me back about 1000-1500 dollars.
fuck that, I'll juts get a stainless steel knife for like, 5$ and then be happy all I need to do is god sandwichs in half / simple things. I can't even imagine spending 100$ on a knife. You must do some pretty proper cooking.
Im sorry, who the fuck wants a ceramic knife
I have a kyocera, may not be the most universal knife but I love it!
It's important to note that it being a ceramic knife doesn't necessarily make it any more sharp than a steel knife. A properly sharpened steel knife can be much sharper than a ceramic knife.
It's important to note that it being a ceramic knife doesn't necessarily make it any more sharp than a steel knife. A properly sharpened steel knife can be much sharper than a ceramic knife.
but isn't steel softer?

The narrator sounds like he's from an episode of South Park.
"This is a piece of breif."
but isn't steel softer?
Yes. Ceramic knives hold their edge much longer, but steel knives can be just as sharp or sharper. It's also much easier to sharpen a steel knife.
So convennent!
What a perfect lie. We should fix it on the block!
I just had to

[editline]6th May 2012[/editline] Yeah I'm late
You can get them without tho.
Here is a piece of breef. We will now cut the breef into peecees.
I found another version of the commercial from 2010: It has a really bad text-to-speech narration but the pronunciation sounds just like the one in the new commercial. Do you think the voice in the new one is a text to speech voice? It sounds much more lifelike than the one in the old commercial so it might be some chinese guy trying to imitate the text-to-speech output as closely as possible.
All I could think of while watching that was this. Skip to 2:47!
"Manu-fucktering" "This is a piece of brief" I lol'd hard
