What kinda magician is he? Lightning bolts and magic missiles?
He can go to different realities, has pocket universe he stores stuff in, makes packs with gods and demons and can alter reality.
hero has moral dilemma/personal issues/conflict with another character hero gets beaten down hero gets empowered and overcomes villain
these just sound like normal plot points?
I hope this means shuma-gorath will somehow get into the MCU at some point.
What kinda magician is he? Lightning bolts and magic missiles?
That's a bit boring. He tends to focus on going to other planes of reality and alternate dimensions and scrapping with Gods and Demons. But he can do fireballs and magic missiles.
holy fuck this is the closest i've seen a movie get to a salvia/DMT trip
poolnoodle boonybun was the right choice, he's convinced me so far
It's kind of hilarious to know that while a lot of people laugh at the pronouncation of his name, he himself can't properly pronounce the word "penguin".

Man, Butterback Cabagebatch looks good in this.
wimbledon tennismatch was a really good choice to play Doctor Strange, the resemblance is crazy.
Beneficial Cucumber looks sick in this character I know literally nothing about. It hooked my interest.
Benderover Cuminhersnatch is seriously a man with many many talents, i love how his American accent is so subtle and not overplayed. [editline]13th April 2016[/editline]
Also, Chiwetel Ejiofor as some kind of futuristic black ninja!? I have never seen such a thing before.
Thats Baron Mordo [sp] Strange's future arch nemesis who's a sorceror aswell[/sp]
these just sound like normal plot points?
Depends, they are normal plot points in shallow movies like most marvel stuff, but besides that, no.
Don't know much about Strange but I like Bendydick Crumblebump so I'll probably watch this, looks interesting.
Mads Mikkelsen is playing a villain in this. I'm excited.
Holy hell, I'd never thought the day I'd see Benadryl Candlesmash play a Marvel superhero would come along.
Oh hey maybe now I will finally see a movie with Congleton Chesterfield I actually know of Doctor Strange from Ultimate Spider-Man so this is a treat for sure.
Never been much of a fan of Borderline Comatose, and I've genuinely never heard of the character before, but this actually got me interested. [sp]how many of you are posting here just so you can intentionally fuck up Blenderdick Cameltoe's name?[/sp]
Depends, they are normal plot points in shallow movies like most marvel stuff, but besides that, no.
but "hero has conflict" is literally the basic requirement for a plot to exist and "hero gets beaten down then overcomes villain" is the natural progression for 99% of movies
hero has moral dilemma/personal issues/conflict with another character villain springs up with an army hero gets beaten down villain invades/reveals his plans/kidnaps love interest hero gets empowered and overcomes villain
So the Hero's Journey?
poolnoodle boonybun was the right choice, he's convinced me so far
If you haven't tried a Benedict Cumberpatch name generator, you're missing out.
If you haven't tried a Benedict Cumberpatch name generator, you're missing out.
yeah that's fucking gold, I never tried one before Benadryl Cabbagepatch
Depends, they are normal plot points in shallow movies like most marvel stuff, but besides that, no.
what is the hero's journey?
what is the hero's journey?
It's basically a set up for any story with a 'hero' character but it can be used for a multitude of other characters as well. The Odyssey is a well know example of :v:
