this whole thing is probably targeted to asian countries. I seriously don't understand why MS hasn't killed the Internet Explorer brand. Like they could literally take IE11 which is a decent browser, add some cool stuff to it and remarket it as A NEEEWWW BROWSER and they would actually stand a chance at keeping their browser marketshare. But no, let's make kawaii IE waifu
They're just trying to appeal to a larger market.
i dont know how to say this but like this is actually really cool, i dont know why but i think it's rad they just decided 'fuck it let's come out of the left field with this one'
I may not like IE, but in Microsoft's defense, it's a lot harder to get mad at software you perceive as a female human being, however fake it is, than if you see it as just a machine.
What does this even mean
Microsoft's trying to turn a fairly old Japanese fad into an advertising campaign. Seriously these -tan things have been around for years and there's a fucking ton of them. What's amusing is that the most popular OS-tan is the one for the same operating system that Microsoft is trying to get people to stop using: Windows XP.
ok i'll upgrade microsoft thanks
People have made art of Firefox-tan and like, every single version of Windows (Seriously, there's 3.1-tan, 95-tan, 98-tan, etc), so I wouldn't be surprised if a Steam-tan existed.
[t]http://25.media.tumblr.com/912d89b4c80c061171fe19a3c3b20b15/tumblr_mtt5loSzIh1sws1hto1_1280.png[/t]
