He's not just bad at games, he's just fucking stupid in general At 9:00 he shoots not one, but TWO tripmines while standing right next to them
He might be dumb, but I love DSP. Watching him rage is hilarious.
Too bad Xen isn't on this release :v:
By the time he finishes the game Xen will be released Also tbh I think you guys are foaming a bit too hard at the mouth at this guy just because he's not good at the same video games you are Did you know L4D and L4D2 auto crouch jump for you? now you do (as for recording the screen with a camera: I do that myself for my own livestreams, because capturing the screen via software is a huge cpu strain cores while pointing a camera at them has no perf cost... it also has the added benefit of blurring away personal info)
You'd think that considering his profession is recording himself playing games, he'd be able to, y'know, drop a few hundred dollars and buy professional screen capture equipment.
I think it's a quantity > quality deal. 30+ ten minute parts uploaded a day, passable quality, taken directly from the camera's SD cards onto Youtube (Ex. Already 4 1/2+ hours of Borderlands 2 footage, a game that came out today.) vs. Less parts a day, syncing together pre-recorded audio and video and rendering each ten minute video individually. (Ex. Toby Turner drawing Assassin's Creed Revelations out for 2+ months) Take your pick, I guess.
When I did do my one [sp]shitty[/sp] LP, it did not take long at all to edit it all. Since it was of Binding of Isaac it was all one file, but it also meant that I didn't have to readjust the audio levels for each video. So the editing for each episode boiled down to 15 minutes of cutting the episode down to just one floor and putting in the endscreen. It is not hard to make a LP, at least the technical part, the hardest part is the commentary part (and unfortunately our friend here fails on both parts).
TotalBiscuit couldn't figure out crouch jumping either and hes also a fat idiot.
When TB does something stupid, he tends to apologize for it though. I doubt this guy does that.
He genuinely enjoyed Duke Nukem Forever. Nuff' said.
I'd love to see him play one of those counter strike climbing maps.

"Ack! What'd he do that for?" *facepalm*
http://socialblade.com/youtube/user/DSPgaming Jesus Christ.
What makes that even worse is that there are countless other people on Youtube who put in way more effort than this chucklefuck and who aren't blithering idiots and they don't see a fucking penny.
Holy shit, this is the meanest thread on FP I've read since I joined. Seriously, this is almost as bad as Reddit. One guy actually said he wanted to 'smash his face in' for being bad at a video game. A video game. Seriously?

This is this guys god damned job. All he has to do is play video games. For all intents and purposes he is a "Professional Gamer". Yet he can't even grasp simple concepts and then gets paid thousands of dollars to literally sit on his ass all day and continue to be a lazy idiot man-child. I mean really that's all this guy has to do is play video games and all he does is whine and bitch.

One guy actually said he wanted to 'smash his face in' for being bad at a video game. A video game. Seriously?
while "smashing his face in" is hyperbole, the point still stands that this asshole likely makes more off of these low-effort, worthless videos in two years than most people make in twelve, including filmmakers and the like that publish their videos on the exact same site. It's hard not to be at least a little miffed about that.
Just downloaded BMS. And it has a tool-tip that tells you all about crouch jump! [t]http://cloud-2.steampowered.com/ugc/937003993047201485/99D0C18B13DEEC5AFD3A8965369184705557E0F4/[/t] For some reason my screenshot looks of poor quality :/
He has a history of not paying attention to stuff on the screen. He was also rushing on that part where the tip popped up and used a barrel instead of crouch jumping because of the headcrab.
I kinda wish DSP sees this thread... maybe....... maybe....
ahahaha watching him struggle with the fucking suspended crates this guy is hopeless holy shit my little cousin can do that part and he's fucking 9
$56k being a minimum... kill me.
Just checked against my own stats and revenue, this website is /really/ generous with their estimates
I think it's a quantity > quality deal. 30+ ten minute parts uploaded a day, passable quality, taken directly from the camera's SD cards onto Youtube (Ex. Most of the other big youtubers sure can. TB's rig has fucking tri-sli for crying out loud. His rig cost more than my mom's car did. Editing also isn't that big a deal. The few gameplay clips I've uploaded(Not LPs, though I have considered them) were as simple as "Encode to YT friendly format --> upload". I didn't have to sync anything.
http://socialblade.com/youtube/user/DSPgaming Jesus Christ.
I just checked Nerdcubed's channel on that site. Thank god he is estimated to make more than this fuckwit. I honestly watched some of this guy playing street fighter. If he is winning the other player is a scrub, who just got raped. If he himself gets destroyed, the other player is still a scrub and the loss was a result of lag/his stick screwing up/bugs.
When I read the title, I thought it meant that he was so fat, that he literally couldn't crouch jump in Black Mesa.
I guess he's new to the Gold Source/Source engine. Anyone that has plaid games on those engines knows how a crouch-jump works very early on. Though I must admit it's not his fault. If I was knew to source I probably wouldnt figure out how to jump up there

And there's a tooltip when you need to do it.
He's not really that fat. Also he does great game reviews, like, much better than most review sites. You guys would like those.
