Do you need a kitchensins channel or are you that stupid.
do you also think chicken sashimi is safe and enjoyable to eat
Even dishes that are served "raw" usually treat the meat one way or another to avoid a trip to the ER.
Its still a gamble, though. Cross contamination is a very delicate and very fucking serious topic in the food industry.
Also, that cooked chicken looked kinda dull and its green as fuck

and bacon? You really shouldn't store ANYTHING that's already been cooked.

I think its even worse than we actually think, not only is it cooked but its possibly rotten food stored with raw food, this chicken doesn't even look that old, I'm wondering if they were COOKING that stuff. Lets not forget that washing your hands is worthless if the kitchen hasn't been deep cleaned properly.
Who the fuck inspects these place. Like what the fuck lol.
lol op enjoy food poisoning
i noticed this is uncensored
i wonder if the Hulu edition is censored or not?
I think the chicken should be censored tbh, too graphic
Sometimes I wonder how people get into the food industry and stay aloft when they can't even do basic fucking hygiene

it's not rotten. it's herbs or seasoning, most likely pesto.

[editline]24th December 2017[/editline]
THEY SERVED THE WEEK OLD DISPLAY ITEM

you gotta be a total idiot, a homicidal maniac or suicidally depressed to run a restaurant like this
I'm literally recovering from food poisoning of some kind right now and tbh OP, you're disgusting. Like, Neolithic man had better food prep standards than you. You ever spent 16 hours of vomiting, and when your stomach is empty, violently convulsions, every 30 minutes or so? Abdominal pain so bad you roll from one side to the other in bed and almost pass out? I reached a fever of 103.4f. Food poisoning isn't a joke, it literally can be so bad that it can lead to Hospitalisation and death. So yeah, fuck anyone who thinks food hygiene is a joke, I sincerely hope you never work in food service. I sincerely hope you experience food poisoning as bad as I just had it. I personally think that having a restaurant as fucking vile as in the video in the OP should be a criminal offense on top of being shut down.
((Bradyns banned DiscoDriver32 for 1 Month in Ramsay Shuts Down Restaurant After Finding RAW Chicken Next to Cooked Chicken with the reason: “This is ten thousand times worse than I thought it would be" - Gordon Ramsay”))
Normally I'd say that a one month ban is a bit harsh, but he is gonna need plenty of time to recover from that salmonella he's undoubtedly off catching right now.
I personally think that having a restaurant as fucking vile as in the video in the OP should be a criminal offense on top of being shut down.
Oh, it is, and frankly it's a miracle Gordon hasn't gotten more of these restaurantuers arrested and charged. He has enough clout that the FDA would be there on the spot if he called in to report something and the shit he finds for this show is well beyond the point of mandatory shutdown.
Guess it speaks volumes about his character that he doesn't do that. I mean, you know he's aware of it, that he could, and yet I haven't heard of him doing so even in cases like this where nobody would fault him for doing so.
I'd say he was a bit rough with the theatrics if it wasn't for, well, the rest of the video
they're just keeping the greens in a big bucket, under a table? and they're not washing before plating it? wtf?
edit: one of the suggestions is a compilation livestream and it's fantastic
Wut.
It looks cooked or something, I can't tell since its so blurry
if it is imagine being served reheated bacon that was stored in some fridge
[editline]24th December 2017[/editline]
I don't think a resturant should carry pre-cooked meat since, its just not as tastey reheated. Its pretty meh and dry. They should prepare it probably. leftovers is for when you take it home.
a restaurant storing cooked food just seems lazy, just shouldn't happen
it's not rotten. it's herbs or seasoning, most likely pesto.
I guess I'm just imagining it since these places are always a bit wildly nasty
this is oddly tame for the stuff the show has seen
I have worked in the Costco Food Court department, and even they go by a hospital clean standard.
If anything that has been cooked sits for longer than an hour (in a properly heated and clean display case or warming bay) it STILL gets tossed away for composts, and is ILLEGAL for us to sell to our members under company policy.
It may seem wasteful to most people, but we never risk a persons health by storing cooked food, and God forbid keep it in the same environment as raw food.

it's the same in mcdonalds for fucks sake. when a fast food place employed mostly by teens who hate their job do a better job a cleanliness than a restaurant you need to evaluate your priorities.

I once ate cooked bacon and died instantly because it was reheated
I don't know why I worded it like that its just obviously incorrect and no one should believe this
oh yeah, im sure that his anal attitude about kitchen practices is really overblown. I mean, it's not like he has over a dozen Michelin Stars among his dozens of restaurants, and I'm sure that this dude that thinks putting raw meat next to cooked meat doesn't matter must surely be extremely successful by now.

Having really, really, really, REALLY shit taste in videos. It's a bannable offense.

I work at a Giant and if our manager ever saw the horrid shit, we'd all get sacked.

This is the only thing which really turns me off from US kitchen nightmares, the UK editions are so much better and the banter is brilliant

thread backfired on OP so damn hard
I really like these threads. Nothing starts a conversation like singling out an idiot.
It brings everyone together. A Christmas miracle.
Whoever runs the youtube channel for Kitchen Nightmares definitely knows what they're doing.

Its the same reason why giving day old bread from bakeries to homeless or needy people is so controversial. Its a good gesture, but if they get food poisoning, the bakery closes, and a social media frenzy blaming them.
I work in fucking ice cream and we have a more sanitary and regulated workplace than these clowns. One of the first lessons you read about when taking almost any Food Protection Certification test is cross contamination. This is usually required for anyone being hired above a regular sales or server position. There’s literally no excuse for these people. They didn’t have to learn this in culinary school or something - this is basic, fundamental procedure. What the FUCK
