Why.
Why.
Looks like a Adam Sandler flick.
Looks like a Adam Sandler flick.
Adam Sandler couldn't pick up the IP in the first place.
Anyone else think he kinda looks like Mitt Romney?
Looks like a Adam Sandler flick.
I'm not really seeing the connection.
Looks like a Adam Sandler flick.
Get out.
Looks like a Adam Sandler flick.
army of darkness coined the term splatstick, what are you talking about?
Anyone else think he kinda looks like Mitt Romney?
He looks like Mitt Romney with a Colbert tint.
this trailer was like if Santa claus personally took me on a tour of the puppy dog factory
holy fuck this is all I want from this world
I WANT ALL OF IT NOW
I only really hope the season doesn't end on a cliffhanger, in case it doesn't get a second season.
Like, loosely tie it up, but still leave it open.
Well I mean, it ending on a cliffhanger would be in the spirit of the films. I can see it ending like Evil Dead 2 or the Director's Cut ending of Army of Darkness, Ash screaming his guts out cause he fucked up and is stuck with deadites in some random time period.
am i dumb?
why does he have his hand?
nevermind, he appears to have a gold prosthetic of some kind

yea it looks like just a fake wooden one or something, for the majority of the trailer it's not there so I imagine he replaces it with the chainsaw pretty quickly
I wonder what happened to his robot hand
Why wouldn't it be? This seems to open with him working at the store he ended up in at the end of Army of Darkness (granted they renamed it for some reason)
Yeah, I have to admit I will miss the "shop smart, shop S-Mart".
Doom 4 looked disappointing but there is solace knowing that at least one badass metal as shit fuckin thing is coming out.
I am so happy right now.
The evil dead series is one of my favorite things in general ever.
Lucy Lawless?
Xena/Evil Dead crossover when?

Imagine she's called the Queen of thieves in this.

I'd ask you to elaborate but this is painfully obvious trolling.
I hope it doesn't gets cancelled until it gets a proper end.
Cause I've seen enough good series end in a flash while less interesting ones are still going.
I really hope this gets going for a good while.

Here's the panel
This is fucking amazing.
maybe it's just a bad trailer but a lot of this comedy feels very... generic conventional/typical "american comedy" (for lacking a better way of describing it)?
it's probably the trailer. i thought the third movie which embraced the comedy aspect, had like proper setup and less light "punchline" comedy waiting at every line of the script
[editline]11th July 2015[/editline]
eh fuck it it's probably gonna be good
I've never actually seen the films but this convinced me to watch them. My mum's a fan of them, I showed her this trailer and she loved it.
I remember watching the first one then the remake. I guess I should start watching the other two.

come on, army of darkness is a comedy classic that's also an action classic. People who haven't seen the third should.
Time to rewatch the classics!
Kinda sucks it's on a premium channel, which is also what mainly stops me from watching Game of Thrones, due to me already paying out the ass for cable every year, even if it is just basic.
out of the original trilogy i've only seen Army of Darkness but this looks pretty super
bonus points for Deep Purple

You say trilogy, and the Evil Dead series is really weird about that, the second is essentially a remake of the first but centered around Ash and they take out a couple characters, then Army of Darkness has a completely different intro than what was seen in Evil Dead 2.
This series looks like its continuing the shaky continuity by mentioning "friends" [Evil Dead 1], saying he escaped [AoD], but not having a robo hand, just the chainsaw [Evil Dead 2]
