Sure, lemme just grab my pistol and shoot whoever represents TPP, that's sensable and no way chaotic.

Also how do we stop this? I'm on board against it, but if we can't do anything about it aside from shout really loud until the old men just shut their windows and close the blinds, then what else is there?
You vote for whoever is against it.
[editline]18th October 2015[/editline]
Of course that's easier done in Canada than it is in America because our election is tomorrow but you guys have to wait until next year.
Every single time more info about the TPP comes out, it just gets worse and worse. Is there anything the average person can do about it?

Take a page from Canada and burn down the whitehouse [sp]I kid, I kid[/sp]
But really, what can we do? I really want this shit to go fuck off.

Write you your representatives in whatever parliament's jurisdiction you live in.
You may have local representatives you can contact directly too.
Also talk about it and inform people about the impact it has on them specifically.
That's pretty much the way to get rid of any (prospective) law, if getting rid of it is possible at all.
With this one it's likely possible considering even two of the more prominent presidential candidates in the US want to stop it.
We in Canada just got through electing the Liberals who are all for it.
Oh well, we're fucked.

Fun fact: The German constitution makes this legal under certain circumstances, to some extent at least.
I doubt actually killing someone would fall under this clause though, unless someone tries to abolish the state with violence.
I really doubt something like TPP or TiSA would quite qualify for this either, if you did a vote on it here :v:

You can still promote Trump and/or Sanders, who want to abolish it in the US.
If the US doesn't ratify it I'm pretty sure Canada would lose its incentives too for the most part.
I keep saying this a lot and its getting harder for people to say no: Revolt.
Oh yeah bro armed revolution over internet politics yeah man fuck the government that's a great idea woo

brb grabbing my .308 let's get this revolution train rolling!
I said this before but didn't know the extent of opposition from the GOP, Apparently Big Tobbaco is Barred from the ISDS, which in turn caused republican support of the TPP to wane... Apparently the Big Guy in the GOP in charge of trade... is now fucking against it... we have a chance, just reinforce them to not let the bill pass.
Edit: aparently the 12 year exclusive rights for drugs is gone too. Big Pharma got shafted too.
This whole trade deal reeks of corporations trying to squeeze money out of consumers and tightening their grips on the market(s) as a whole. Especially the Civil & Criminal Punishments section. Your hardware being destroyed just for downloading a game? That's not only excessive but I would that that's illegal to destroy someone's property as a punishment as it falls under unusual punishments imo.
Many people store photos and videos of deceased loved ones on their computers, the entire thing stinks to high hell.
So as a concerned person living outside of these Pacific countries, what can I do to help fight against this?
