The new Dredd. I like the original, even if it had Rob Schneider, but that's what made 80's movies great, there was always that one comedy relief character. Even though it's a 90's movie, it just perfectly captured that 80's look and feel. The new Dredd was just meh, I thought. Cool Slow motion sequences, but a lot of those 'Made for 3D' type gimmicky shots really ruin movies for me

Practical effects, yes. Stop motion, no. ED looks awkward, jerky, and weightless when it moves.
Jurassic Park used CG combined with animatronics to create the dinos, rather than stop-motion. Which do you think looks better?

The first grey design was a nice recreation, it was a more slim high tech version of the 80's blocky suit, looked pretty close, while being modern and fresh
