We need to bring back corporeal punishment in schools.
We need to bring back corporeal punishment in schools.
I disagree; broken bones can heal but incorporeal punishment really hits you in the soul
We need to bring back corporeal punishment in schools.
I can't tell if that's a joke, and even if it is it's a terrible one.

The use of the British Empire and the fact they only wanna pay 1 pound 50 is pre obvious that it's fake
Berta Lovejoy is a known troll. Cindy Lux appears to be as well, but I haven't seen her specifically, before.

Don't even need reddit to know that these are obvious troll accounts, it should be quite obvious just from reading. Not saying that you specifically need reddit to tell you they're trolls or anything, but just in general, there's quite an obvious troll tone in the comments
That kid needs some love.
He needs to be rated dumb.
Looks like roidrage to me.
The use of the British Empire and the fact they only wanna pay 1 pound 50 is pre obvious that it's fake
Yeah, it would be more believable when they don't offer you any money!
The worst part of having anger issues like that is feeling like a fucking asshole after you've calmed down and realized how much of an ass you made yourself look like.
It makes you hate yourself for acting like that, feeding back into your anger. It's extremely self defeating and it's only made worse by the fact that everyone looks down on you once you've done it.
I hope that kid get's the help he needs.
We need to bring back corporeal punishment in schools.
Honestly I reckon bringing back corporal punishment would just lead to a lot of teachers getting bashed.
I mean fuck teachers got bashed at my school by fuckin ice-addicts and pill-heads just by saying something they didn't like, what do you reckon is going to happen when some 5'6 54 year old man tries to cane a 6'4 16 year old with anger issues, a shithouse home-life and drug/alcohol addictions
Yeah this kid is either juicing or has some serious personal issues. This looks like a mood disorder.
That wasn't even funny angry that was oh shit scary angry
IMO it's funny angry, he's clearly impotent and just wants to feel like a tough guy

He needs therapy, not punishment.
You know, maybe he needs both? Yeah he needs help, but at the same time actions cannot go without consequences.

When the only punishments the school can dish out will exacerbate the problem you need to find another solution. What good is even bothering with therapy if the other side of the plan makes worse the very thing you're trying to make better? It's like trying to clean up a gasoline spill with wrags, then lighting the wrags on fire to clean the gasoline out of them.

Because this only shows other kids that you can freak out like this and essentially get away with it which will only contribute to more problems in the classroom. This kid needs to learn that shit like this outside a school in the real world leads to actual shit happening. Also how will all punishments continue to fuel the problem?
Because this only shows other kids that you can freak out like this and essentially get away with it which will only contribute to more problems in the classroom.
And you think that his peers will somehow thing being forced into therapy is somehow not a penalty for acting out? Get real. They know damn well that you can't do that sort of thing already.

He already knows that. It is exceedingly rare for anyone to make it into high school without knowing that.
Also how will all punishments continue to fuel the problem?
I've already explained that several posts up. I'm not repeating myself.

Yes? Compared to something like ISS therapy isn't that bad and if anything means likely getting to leave class and shit, which to kids who don't feel like learning sounds fucking great.
He already knows that. It is exceedingly rare for anyone to make it into high school without knowing that.
If he knows that then why is he acting the way he is acting? Even if he knows the fact, if nothing has been able to actually show him the effects of pulling shit like this, it is meaningless.

You explained why out of school suspension is a bad idea, but ignored the fact that out of school suspension isn't the only punishment available to schools. Back when I was in high school out of school suspension was rarely used and most punishments were either ISS (in-school suspension) or detentions (either after school or on a weekend).
