I don't understand why people watch a person playing a game. Why not play the game itself? Why not watch a movie? Are you too dumb to come up with that idea?
Speedruns are another thing though, It's like watching someone who dedicates their lives to certain games pull off master glitches and stunts, that can't be accomplished by any normal person.
But watching a video of a video game, with a camera focused on the person playing that game? What the hell are you thinking
[sp]In TokyoBoi's blindfolded oot run on saturday, the chat asked him to stream what he just did over again, so he could watch what happened. People wanted to watch a person watching a video of a person playing a game.[/sp]

Possible! Perhaps some subtlety is lost in translation but it sure seemed like they were having a wank.
Nope, no insults were thrown except by the guy who asked "People watch people play games?" with utter disbelief.

Imagine people watching football instead of playing it ?
Also, games are expensives and you also need the console/PC to go with.
Also, because it's entertaining to watch someone play maybe ?
Honestly, I didn't find that insulting at all. Maybe because I watched it in French, I don't know.
She's not saying being on Twitch is retarded, she says it's incredible. Because most people in France don't know what Twitch is and that people watch other people play video games. What's the problem?
He say (I translate myself) "They must have nothing to do in theyre lifes", and then he say "this is a complete disapointment". Here is the problem, and she is talking of an "addiction", the introduction is : "after video games addiction, there is now addiction the people who watch video of people playing video games" like all people who watch twitch are junkie who need they're daily live.
And also, French people know twitch, I mean the young generations of course.
And the french gamers get offended hearing that (espcially from someone who was in a youtube video 4 month ago where he was playing video game), they create petition and Antoine de Caunes said he'll make a tuning tonight. And it's also how she talk about a topic she clearly doesn't understand it, she didn't even know how to say PewDiePie, if she just watched the begin of a PewDiePie video, she would know how to say it. And then what theyre talking about after twitch ? Women in underwear, yeah, so usefull.
Watching Twitch is better than watching people insult things like Twitch on TV all day.

"Watching people on Twitch is stupid unless it's Speed Runs because those are the people I watch on Twitch! :downs:"
You're a dingus.
I dunno, most of the time, if I watch a Twitch Stream, or a youtube "Let's play", I, most of the time at least, watch it for the guy himself, and not for the game.
I wouldn't watch a video of a shitty game if a commentator like Vinny or other wasn't talking, or making it somewhat enjoyable.
[sp]Also I find PewDie somewhat enjoyable, sue me. Even though, I understand why people hate him.
It's a different kind of funny, the dumb kind, but hey, he's like the comedy relief of youtube. I guess.[/sp]

Because some people myself included like to watch a different persons perspective on a video game, and or watch an interesting personality play videos games, like JonTron, GameGrumps or Roosterteeth.
It's because they're so far different from ourselves that it's entertaining and it fills our free time, or makes a boring job on your computer more entertaining and less draining.
I'm not sure I understand how watching someone play a game is different than watching a host and their guests shit on people for not watching their shitty television show.
And PewDiePie has never done anything wrong, is his humor shit? To me and a lot of people, sure, but that's no reason to say he looks like a retard (the host didn't say it straight up, but it was a sous-entendus), it's like he's jealous PewDiePie probably makes more cash than him, or anyone making a living through Twitch or Youtube.
Why PewDiePie anyways, he's known for Youtube, not Twitch, get your shit together, lady, if you want to talk about a successful Twitch streamer you could talk about MANvsGAME among many others.
Some people make me ashamed of my flag sometimes.
