Absolutely. It's here to control the reverberation and the "equalization" of the room (you usually couple them with bass traps in the corners). They don't sound-proof and also burn pretty easily :eng101:

Oh Jesus I never watched Pewdiepie but recently I've been seeing his newer non-video game stuff and I'm actually laughing really hard. It got to the point where I had to pause halfway through the losing subs video.

Out of curiosity I checked and that sponsorship line was there since the first video. It wasn't edited in recently.

Megathreads exist for a reason, there's nothing 'arbitrary' about it at all. If people are going to make new threads for his videos every day you may as well congregate them all in one place. Are you going to tell me that the H3, Vinesauce, Roosterteeth, Brutalmoose, and SBFP threads are arbitrary too? Use this thread for any and all pewdiepie videos, simple as that.

But mega-threads are annoying to keep up with videos.
Way less discussion too, can't speak for the others but the H3 thread died off fast (from like 30 posts to 2 posts per vid) because they upload videos irregularly. The really good vids would get their own thread, and the vlog stuff just wasn't posted (or posted in the megathread if there was one?) Megathreads are better for stuff with a schedule.

Just like with H3, and JonTron, and any of the other megathreads, particularly entertaining videos usually get their own threads because they are worthy of the coverage. Or at least I was under the impression that's how things went based on experience.

Sure its simple but not efficient or useful. What is the deal needing megathreads? PewDiePie only posts actual funny content every other week as far as i know.

But it's not really fitting now because 1) the video hasn't even been posted here and 2) the discussion in this megathread has already changed to something else, namely a debate on the purpose and usefulness of megathreads.

Then why aren't you locking all of the RLM threads that get posted here and redirect them to the megathread, or the h3h3 vids, or the jontron vids, etc. etc.
My TB thread has always been kinda used to post less interesting videos, and the videos that are more widely interesting get their own threads. It's worked out well so far.
Megathreads for videos are stupid. Nobody discusses the videos for me than some 3-4 posts and then it's a totally new discussion be whatever. It also makes the pages load super slow if a lot of people post videos, it's also hard to know if a new video has been posted and if it's quality or bad.
