this is why i think frag videos are fucking retarded beyond explanation. modern multiplayer games arent that hard, the only difficulty lies in actually being able to stay focused on the unexciting combat and making your way slowly through the bland maps

I don't think it's really meant to be troll bait. Just some funny non-verbal commentary on the debate on modern games versus the old. Obviously quake can be boring sometimes if playing against the current "elite" players who still play hardcore since it came out. And COD can be pretty intense at times.
Selective editing adds to the humor of it. As well as the elevator music.

A much better comparison would be counter strike to CoD
if you're trying to start an argument that anything that isn't super-fast-paced at all times sucks, then you're pretty much saying counter strike is bad which I think you might want to reconsider

Counter strike (source) is actually quite bad tbh.
I'm very proud that I played games like this, probably no one of my friends in school heard of them, hell, one if them thinks there were only 4 Call of Duty's, Modern Warfare, World at War, Modern Warfare 2 and Black Ops. :suicide: Pretty much sums up our generation.

i mostly hate how in every single recent fps, everyone dies in very few bullets so it's who sees the other first wins and i hate how skill-based movement like bunny hopping is totally inexistant
last game i know that wasn't like this was section 8 prejudice

I remember when Killzone 3 beta started, people ALWAYS camped in a certain smallish room. I usually threw all my grenades there and almost always got 3+ kills. I sucked at the game (like I do in all console-FPS's), but that room made my KD stay high. :v:
