Also on the issue of racism against white people, you really just can't be racist against white people. Obviously it's possible to discriminate white people but the media and the public at mass won't take it seriously because the position Caucasian men have in the country. WASP (white anglosaxon protestant males) have ran this country for 400 years and for more than 300 of them were incredibly racist towards people of all walks of life (Chinese ten year act, gentlemen's agreement, Japanese interment camps, Slavery duh, Jim Crow, Native Americans). Institutional racism has pretty much created white guilt for arguably good reason and as a result of course people aren't going to be offended by a white person being discriminated against as much as someone of a different ethnicity being discriminated against. I don't agree with it, racism is bad in every way but, it is just the way things work and it isn't hard to understand.

Just because your family or friends think it's OK doesn't mean it no longer hurts the rest.
