The people who are making this game do not really have a choice who is the Bond in the game. Activision and MGM are telling Eurocom it has to be Daniel Craig.
By the way these are the same guys who developed Nightfire.
Oh god the same guys?
I was probably going to buy it before, but now there's no fucking way I'm not going to.
Also, I'm hoping for a texture replacement to switch Daniel Craigs face with Pierce Brosnans.
Hopefully.
Yeah because how you look in a singleplayer FPS is really important.

I think my brain just exploded with the amount of hype I've just added to this game

Okay, now I'm interested. I'd be tempted to buy it day one if they brought back Skyrail. Best map ever.
Edit: Actually, looking at Eurocoms track record doesn't inspire a lot of confidence. (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eurocom) I mean, they've made some good games, but there a lot of shovelware in that list.

Actually guys. Eurocom has made every Bond game (except Goldeneye 64 or Quantum of Solace). Including the remade Goldeneye.

What?
Nightfire was easily one of the best Bond games, so many awesome missions and gadgets.
The fucking snow cliff mansion party you sneak all around was amazing, and all the missions had a shitload of ways you could do it and it rewarded you for it.
And the multiplayer was some of the best, you could be odd job and throw his hat.
Sounds like you are trying to just hate on it because you thought thats what you were supposed to do.

Not true, actually. There were a couple made by Visceral Games (Including the glorious Everything Or Nothing), and EA LA are responsible for the abortion that was Goldeneye: Rogue Agent.
Though I really do hope it has the somewhat Deus-Ex style non-linearity like Nightfire did, like the multiple ways of sneaking into the Castle in the first mission of Nightfire.
Does anybody remember Oddjob from Goldeneye on the Nintendo 64?
What a pain in the ass...
I remember that, if close enough, Jaws couldn't look down far enough to hit him.
I might get it somewhere down the line if it doesn't suck, but definitely not until a Steam sale. 60 bux just doesn't seem worth it for this game tbh, and I loved Nightfire. Even the PC port that didn't have any of the driving portions of the game.

Read my post again.
"no fucking way I'm not going to."
I loved the shit out of both Agent Under Fire and Nightfire. Played them all the damn time.

Ironic you think that with your avatar taken into consideration.
Cool, when does it come out? 2004?
I really hope they get some of the older music in there.

rogue agent was legit
i mean it wasn't the best thing ever but it had an awesome multiplayer
This looks pretty fun, but I'd forgotten how far behind console graphics are

Oh nice. Nightfire is probably my second favourite bond game after goldeneye. Then again I haven't played it in years so I'm not sure if it's nostalgia kicking in.
2004 graphics. um.
Sorry it just doesn't feel the same shoving Daniel Craig in there, he's a good Bond but....it just needs to old ones too.
Yeah seriously. What the hell were they thinking? From Russia With Love used a Sean Connery model. I know Sean Connery doesn't like to act anymore because of how bad he was treated and shit but c'mon... this is Goldfinger ffs.

They can't not use Craig for any new 007 games, there's some licensing issues going on or something like that. I guess From Russian With Love was before those contracts and licenses were put in place or it was some exception.

Besides if they were using the proper Bond for each mission it wouldn't make much sense when you'd be playing a completely different person, yet with the same name in each mission.
The graphics aren't the best but by no means look like they're from the original xbox. If you guys want a pretty game go play Crysis or something. I myself am excited for this game because they managed to fit a lot of great Bond movies into it. I would probably prefer them to swap out OHMSS with either Thunderball or The Spy Who Loved Me but otherwise great choice of movies.
I'm sure as hell at buying this as soon as its released.
