What I'm confused is people actually gave him constructive criticism in the other thread, like drop the dubstep and the terrible filters. I mean even a well produced MW3 montage would be trashed because Facepunch hates the game, but you could atleast put in some effort.

Facepunch hates montages because they've been conditioned to be the generic "omg MLG is so fag lul". Plus, it's MW3, not as impressive as you'd think.

The game works just fine for frag videos, it's people who have no idea how to make a good video that ruins it for everyone else.

I can give constructive criticism but it would just match what everyone has been saying since his first thread a couple weeks ago. Hell, drop the dubstep and the shitty filters, that'd be a huge increase in quality.

I counter your bullshit with constructive criticism. The video was bad. The fucking stroboscope between kills was horrible. What's the purpose of it anyway? To give people seizures or make them puke or what? The music was bad too, I guess it's all taste, but if you want a bigger audience while still putting the music you like, at least don't use a very intrusive one. The kills themselves, yeah there were some pretty good ones, not a fun of quickscoping but it was ok. The entire vid was horribly monotone. Quickscope, fast forward with stroboscope, quickscope, quickscope, fast forward with stroboscope etc, etc. It got boring. Add some fucking variety to it. Different map, different camera, maybe enemy pov. And stop putting a million filters in there. It serves no purpose other than give an impression that you've put an effort in it while it's just selecting one from the list with 2 clicks and hurting the fucking eyes or making the video difficult to watch.

Put only the interesting stuff in the vid. The fast forward could be justified if it's between 2 really good actions and it's not long. You know what I mean? When the gap between actions isn't long enough to be cut out but too long to be just left in there. And you don't have to drop dubstep or even filters, just don't make them so fucking intrusive. There are some dubsteps out there that aren't so hardcore. And the filters can work when used properly, as in, they aren't hindering the gameplay. Between action sequences is a good place for them, but again they can't be so fucking intrusive and eye melting. Don't go "OMG SO FUCKING HARDCORE", tone the shit down.
