You know, I'm really getting tired of these "we must fight a war within ourselves" movies.
Why can't we have a good old fashioned beat-em-up between two distinct groups?
too many damn effects can't see shit
That's not Khan.
so it's Bane?
Anyone notice there were very few Lens flares in the trailer?
Anyone notice there were very few Lens flares in the trailer?
I remember in an interview that Abrams said he regretted using so many lens flares, so it makes sense that he's toning it down this time around

ooh the enterprise flying out of the ocean
i've always wondered if the enterprise can go underwater

I thought it was actually crashing into the ocean.
I could be wrong though
Hmmm. I'll keep an open mind. It's clear they're marketing it towards fans of movies like the Dark Knight, but 1:06 isn't enough to judge. You can make a movie look like any genre or style you want with a well put together trailer, I'll wait for something a bit more substantial.
Hoping for a trailer as good as the...third one for the 2009 film? In a few months time.

There is a earlier shot in the trailer of it raising out of water.
oh my god
Wow they must have really rushed this one, Disney only bought the rights a month ago
This movie has been in the making for 2 years, and not made by Disney.
If that's the case, I don't mind this.
That has not been confirmed.
I thought it was the Enterprise rising through clouds. It didn't look like water to me.
Atleast he is keeping the franchise alive unlike star wars which just got sold off to disney where unknown horrors will be done to it.
Wow, another statement about Disney buying Star Wars with no logical base. Bra-vo.
