Ok after some research, I've got it. That animal does suffer, but it isn't killed and replaced. Watch the specific way the feet are disconnected. Then he uses some Gipsy technique to trance the creature into a sleep state. He reconnects the feet and swings the animal, which obviously wakes it. I don't know that it can endure this process more than once, however.
Emotionally desensitization is rarely good. You're supposed to feel certain ways about certain things, like sadness over the death of a loved one, excitement about something you're looking forward to, or disgust at (real) gratuitous violence.
What about the shit that people find funny whereas you would find it stupid.
Magnets
I found it hard to go through the part where the chicken was crying. That is a really awesome trick though, but I never want to see it again.
Chickens can live for a while after their heads been cut off. he just cut into the brain killing it and causing the rest of the body to not feel any pain which allowed the chick to walk around. Notice how it only starts to move again after he touched the body.
That is very cruel
Dude fucking third world countries man. Mutilating animals for magic tricks is a cool thing apparently. Its just sick to hear it cry out in pain, fucking sick. Then he severs part of the brain? I'm glad this fucker lives in a poor nation. Come to think of it, he's probably dead from tooth decay or something like that anyway. I hope it was slow and painful.

And a headless chicken does not move like that, I assure you. [editline]15th April 2011[/editline]
Brain dead, yes. God damnit I hated watching through this but it was interesting.

What makes this video more suspicious is the quality, it's low, I wonder if it's on purpose to hide the trick, or what, but it does seem a bit strange.
Wouldn't swinging like that pump blood to the brain? And maybe snap the ankles into place? The only explanation I can think of.
Why aren't these videos ever in 1080p?
