She's not holographic.
So weaboo, but so amazing. I wish the shows I watched as a kid that got music videos like Bob the Builder got this.
HAHA 5 finger death punch is Hardcore. LOL You should go an August Burns Red or Despised Icon concert
Too bad DI are disbanding. Seriously, it sucks. [editline]16th November 2010[/editline]
If this thread was about the Gorillaz live concert everyone would be complimenting it, but because it's from Japan it's automatically ridiculed. GG Facepunch.
At least Gorillaz is decent music.

This is actually really cool from a technological standpoint. I wish all the videos didn't zoom in on it. It actually looks really cool with a bit of distance.
My ears hurt from some undersound or something... like a high pitched autotune or something
It would be so much better if they used this type of technology for something... Better. Why waste this on anime that stupid anime girls are going to gasm over? "OMG ITZ MIKU! I WANNA MOVE TO JAPAN CAUSE THEY MAKE ANIME OVER THERE!!" I mean, imagine all the amazing things they could do with it!
Holy shit that must of been a lot of magnets to get that to work
My God man, I understand that what they used this for is not your style, but how about you accept that so incredibly many people actually do like this shit?
What I said came off a little too anti vocaloids, and I should realize that just because it isn't my cup of tea, doesn't make it bad. So, I apologize. But, my main point is; Think about all the cool shit you can do with this software.
I liked the way the Gorillaz did this shit better, since they, well, actually had PEOPLE sing (even though you can't see them directly).
The song was slightly catchy.
Anyone here realise that its just one fucking projector (or possibly two)
On a more serious note, I don't even want to imagine the hundreds and hundreds of Gigs worth of Rule 34 material on this popstar...
You should snip that before some nerd thinks it's a good idea to post it.
NG Resonance is now possible.
I'm not a weeaboo, however I've known about this shit for years, how can you operate the internet and not *ever* seen Miku before? Even in a .gif? goddamn.
I liked the way the Gorillaz did this shit better, since they, well, actually had PEOPLE sing (even though you can't see them directly).
Shit wasn't live. They effectively ran a CD and then left room for the shitty rappers. Atleast this shit had a band there playing everything live. as for "imagine everything they COULD be doing with this, and not this miku shit!" From what I understand vocaloids are used in type to speech software for the disabled, used in meetings during slideshow presentations, etc. It's just a software the company sells, that happens to have got a large cult following for the music possible with it. If you're talking about the "hologram" it's just a projector on a special two way glass screen. It's used as special effects in a bunch of different stageshows. I believe tenacious D used one on their last tour for all kinds of fire effects and shit.

Its just an anime don't take it seriously...like or not like btw: You choose World is Mine, MELT is better!? Yeah! rate me dumb It's just I can't help my self:P

This is great technology. I would love to see it available to the public (which might be possible given time). [editline]16th November 2010[/editline] holograms [editline]16th November 2010[/editline] not hatsune miku [editline]16th November 2010[/editline] btw you guys are assholes
I had to stop by when I heard that the OP was angry at ratings Kind of creep video, though.
Am I the only one who read the title as "Meet Japan's holographic pornstar"?
Am I the only one who read the title as "Meet Japan's holographic pornstar"?
 Nope. It's what made me click this thread.
Go on, fucken weeaboos, keep rating me Late if that make you feel any better :colbert:
Wow sounds like some one is upset that they're late.
All weeaboos got anime avatars, what does that make me though? Old fascist man?
The song was slightly catchy.
I can't stop listening to it! :byodood:
