I can't stop listening to it! :byodood:
No one can stop listening to it, as much as they don't want to admit it. :colbert:
no vocals and a little change to the beat would be a good song
So they're listening to vocals from a program, and a real band hidden in the back? Also, her sleeves are ipads. Neato.
Welcome to japan.
I really don't care for the music, but the concept is quite amusing.
So thousdand of people go to a "concert" to see something that is actually not there, just a projection? This aint normal.
hello
I wish we could do research on Japanese people to figure out what's wrong with them. I mean this video literally makes me hate Japan a little more. I know its wrong, but its true. I mean cool tech but the usage is just... sad.

And I believe its a projection onto a canvas of some sort furthering the lameness of the concert.
hello i just posted a video of us doing the exact same thing
hello i just posted a video of us doing the exact same thing
I don't think the Gorillas go in the same category as anime. I like the holographic part of it, its just their odd obsession with anime that bugs the hell out of me. Our rendition looks cool, theirs is just weird and perverted as usual. Plus we have actual people and holographic drummers.
I don't think the Gorillas go in the same category as anime. I like the holographic part of it, its just their odd obsession with anime that bugs the hell out of me.
Is that any worse than our obsession with Jersey Shore? Or Twilight?
Is that any worse than our obsession with Jersey Shore? Or Twilight?
Oh what? Our obsession with Jersey Shore? Twilight? What you listed there are two very brief examples of diversity in our country. By no means does Jersey Shore top Desperate House Wives, Office, American Idol, Lost, or whatever other show is out there. We're by no means obsessed with it like the Japanese are Anime. Trust me. It infests their movies, pop culture, merchandise, everything. Its sick. Compare our use of holograms with theirs:

Do you people even think before you type? you condemn japan like they are the worst shitstain place in the world when we do almost some of the EXACT same shit. Also as stated, if it was the Gorrilaz live show or something to that effect, Everyone would praise it. [editline]16th November 2010[/editline]
Oh what? Oh and it's not like there wasn't a cult following for Lost, and people TOTALLY don't go crazy over American Idol. Trust me.
We don't do anything like anime in America. Do you think before you type?
Uh yeah we are
No, we're not. Its a fact supported by statistics. Besides its just another stupid reality show, we've done hundreds of them, there's no point you're really making. You see some of the fucked up shows that are popular in Japan?
Yep. That's japan. Nothing new here.

I was using those other shows as a point to show that Twilight and Jersy Shore are not obsessions of the common American. They are obsessions of a small fraction of people, there are many different tastes in America, was the point I was making. You really didn't get my post. [editline]17th November 2010[/editline] Sorry tried to automerge.

If you're referring to stuff like tentacle rape then I doubt that you'd find that most Japanese like it.
I'm gay and I'd bone her

Almost everything about Japanese people and their culture is weird. I realize they are just one of the many cultures in this world and that there is no problem in being different, in fact its a good thing in evolutionary terms. I'm just thoroughly annoyed by Japanese's obsession with anime related crap. The big eyes, child like voices and features, alien shapped heads. The fact that they have anime robots, anime dances, and now anime pop stars is just too much for me. I can't deal, so to speak.
What other practical use could we have for 3d Holograms? Putting them on stage to be used with people's favorite band or singer is a great idea. Not only is it showing off what they have, it's also getting in touch with their people.
Op is 3 years late. Miku is hawt.

No they're not, so how about you just stop being a pillock and learn to deal with it
Am I the only one who noticed that the people singing along were usually men? Also, the only good use of projections in a concert I have seen is the Gorrilaz live and Pink Floyd's: The Wall Live.

I'll just leave my childhood here.
I thought it said pornstar...
*pictures* No we totally didn't do anything like anime in america. I'll just leave my childhood here.
And how are any of those cartoons like anime? Pokemon and Yugio are not American in origin, how could you think they were?
Wow, Japan managed to get people to want to see a Hologram sing a song. What is the world coming to? Soon they wont pay to see real singers sing.

Both are superficial and you have just as much chance to get with either.

this is much better than watching that son of a bitch of justin bieber
the lip syncing is horrible. oh wait, its like that in all anime
