Those are just custom levels, the one the editors of the game are really more... Suspenseful and scary.

God damn, these guys get scared over nothing. I mean, I get scared at night when playing minecraft, but its not because I'm actually scared. I just know that if I dont freak out and hide in a corner a creeper will blow up all my hard work. Why are the videos about this game showing people freaking out every time they see anything in the game thats not standing still?

You wouldn't know if you hadn't played it. It's incredible tense and atmospheric, even when nothing is happening.
