Is Metro 2033 the SCARIEST game in the world or am I just a pussy?

My only complaint is that the game feels short to me.

they give 9.5 to a game that should by all rights get 3.8
Yeah, how dare IGN NOT give a game a rating that YOU want to see.
Modern Warfare 2 was a good game, get over it.

God, this fucking whiny entitled shit gamers have is getting old.
Just ordered it :D

Modern Warefare 2 is a fun game online, but it got very repetitive and the campaign is very mediocre.
I found Metro 2033 to be a stellar game, just short (a bit like Modern Warefare 2's campaign).

The problem here is that MW2/MW3 gets FAR more than what it deserves.
This game is fuck tard hard to play on Intel Graphics..

was a 7.0 IMHO, Satane doesn't know what the hell he's talking about.
the only reason they gave it a 9 is because the game media is full of liars that'll say anything if they're paid to, and don't actually know what the fuck their talking about
I could probably review games way better than them. Because I actually look at EVERYTHING in a game
The video became shit after you started yelling.

People like the game, so what? Who are you to decide what deserves what attention?

The story was very well written and kept you going, I don't see how it's repetitive. Simply saying the game HAS to have a rating YOU want is fucking childish.

Both games have nothing to do with eachother.

Or, you know, and this is a crazy idea, they, maybe, hold on now, maybe, fucking insane I know, perhaps they liked the gme.
Fucking shocking I know.
Oh but that's impossible, because they're being paid off by the company even though they aren't.
Even X-Play gave it a 5/5. And they're critical as fuck with games.
For the record, guys, just throwing this out there:

lolwut?
I remember when I finally realized like 6 years ago that X-Play was completely biased as shit and was paid off. I stopped trusting X-Play, on my own, when I was 13, because it was that obvious.

How is it obvious? Have you even watched their reviews?
They used to lower scores for anything.
Metro wasn't particularly scary, but it was very atmospheric. Almost nothing compares to it in how well it sets up the environment.
Well, I tried it, and now [sp]the Dark Ones are saved[/sp]. Good job. You've doomed us all.
Also, just to clarify: there's a chain-link fence to the right of the elevator when you get off at the reactor level. Crouch and keep walking into the gap between the fence and the reactor, and you'll squeeze through. Go down the normal path to the ladder to the control room and Miller will follow along. Just watch out for amoebae and and cover the retard with the Volt Driver, and he'll get along pretty quickly.
Also, I have another suicide-causing story to relate:
During the trip to the Tower, my gas mask got cracked and Artyom started wheezing like an asthmatic. Then the game autosaves. Moments later, dead. The game reloads - dead. Over and over again.
In the last few moments of each individual Artyom's life, I ran around for a gas mask.
Finally find one in a small red box, Artyom puts it on, then he collapses and dies a horrible death.
Quite rage-inducing indeed.
I had something similar happen to me, in the tunnels before you get on the train with everyone I took off my gas mask, when the next section loaded up which required you to have a mask on I kept dying because the game wouldn't let me put the mask back on. In the end I had to redo the level before that because Artyom kept suffocating.

A 3 is average
Well maybe because Crysis, besides its pretty graphics, has nothing that does anything new. The game was fun to play, but was forgettable. The story was god awful.
Loved Metro 2033; the ghost pipes part got me good. LISTEN TO THE RANGERS AND STAY AWAY FROM THE PIPES! Can't wait for Metro: Last Light to be released.

I don't get how you can say that it did nothing new since it had a ton of things that weren't utilzed in games before it but okay.
Story wasn't as bad as everyone made it out to be, the graphics were great, the multiplayer was fun as fuck, the destruction aspect for most of the game made for some amazing situations, and the suit functions / on the fly weapon customization made for a lot of dynamic encounters. It was anything but forgettable, perhaps I am biased here because I made it through many playthroughs of the game but I loved every minute of it. The level design, while linear to an extent allowed for you to complete objectives the way that you wanted to complete them. Overall the game allowed for a lot of freedom and was pretty damn unique.
I stopped watching X-Play after that review because they focused on stupid shit like the occasional AI bugs instead of focusing on the gameplay, the graphics, and the multiplayer, all of which were just amazing.

I agree with you on Crysis being a great game, but, it's X-Play, what did you expect? An honest, accurate review of the game?

So Xplay is now bad because they said a mediocre game was average?
So Xplay is now bad because they said a mediocre game was average?
Wow, X-Play is bad because of a lot of reviews that they put forward, I was just stating how I thought they were exceptionally wrong in the case of Crysis due to the things that they faulted the game for ("look at the ai being bad XD"), and that is what made me stop watching the show.
It seems like you posted an idiotic comment without taking anything I said into consideration just because you think that the game I used as an example is mediocre. Good for you.
Yeah sorry about the derailment, after looking at the rest of that guy's excellent posting I don't think I should have bothered at all.
Man i beat this game 5 times, librarians, were easy, even on ranger hardcore. i just took a duplet (double barrel shotgun) and like 100 shells, you just load like 3 sets of the double shots into a librarian, and they're dead, easy as that.
In the first librarian portion (before the black librarians) I always just sprint past them.
Guess you weren't paying attention because the darker ones attacked him on sight.
They'd only hit you once or twice if I remember correctly, to try and provoke you into attacking.
"THESE THINGS JUST DON'T okay it's dead."

Well seeing as the AI is pretty bad, which DOES factor into fucking gameplay in case you didn't know and the story was absolutely abysmal, I can understand why they weren't jumping to give it a 5/5

I am sorry sir but you need to actually read what I am typing, I mentioned that their reviews bothered me before hand and that their Crysis review just made me stop watching the show altogether because at that point I realized just how shallow and baseless their reviewing appeared to be.
I was dropping the issue I really don't know why you brought it up again for no reason, and had the nerve to put words into my mouth. Honestly I can tell that you are not a fan of the game from the way that you are
acting and I cant convince you otherwise. So just drop this shit, this thread is about Metro, not Crysis, not X Play, and not about calling me an idiot because you disagree with my opinions.

I'm not pointing out that it's a bad game, just that's mediocre at best. Being pretty doesn't make a game spectacular.
Oh I'm sorry, I didn't mean to insult you ~after you did the same~
