I love shit like this. Every time I see such cool designs rendered so well I just want everything on my computer to be based visually on the designs.
In fact, does anybody know a good Futuristic Renaissance vibe resource?
As amazing as this is, in many ways I prefer the older video.
It looks like it draws from all my favourite sci-fi shit - elements of The Matrix (Mainly the Animatrix), Ghost in the Shell/NeoTokyo, Elysium, Deus Ex oh my
mannequin terminators, how nice. it's not like they combined two of the worst artificial man-made things into one or anything
i love the big robot designs
Wait, so is this the final video or is this just a second trailer?
The 2 legged mechs remind me of that mech from District 9.
This reminds me of the short film in which an android butler grabs some mysterious box and runs away from the police with it in a dystopian world.
I'd appreciate if it someone could find it, since I can't.

They're being cockteases just like last time and not confirming whether it's a trailer or the actual video. The first one sat around for 2 years and left it completely open ended and they seem to be doing the same here.
But the fact that they've reused some footage and haven't really given much plot away (also the same taglines) also the fact that it's also called keloid and has no subtitle, and on top of that nearly every scene was cut into pieces rather than single shots, makes me think that this is actually a legit short film that's still in production.
The reason they've never confirmed it either way is because they seem to be working on a budget of approximately tree fiddy and I believe they're not willing to commit enough to say that it's going to be a full film because they know that at any point something could happen and they won't be able to finish it (and also they're probably trying to get uber funding)
Because it's just a VFX reel without a script.
Clearly you haven't read up on it.
"We’re very few in our team, so we’re very close and always hear what each other have to say in terms of ideas for possible future projects. Some 12 months ago, one of the animators came up with this idea of mechanical SWAT forces rushing into a clandestine drug lab also operated by robots.
We all agreed on two things: The idea was very, very appealing, but it still needed something else beyond just satisfying a visual appetite. We spent some months reading, surfing the web, looking here and there to build up a solid story."

The story we want to tell is nothing of an easy one, so we don’t know if a short movie can cover it all. Hopefully, it can.
We have all the characters, script and art ready. I mean, the trailer displays some of them, but there’s much more behind it. We would like, of course, to go for a feature film, but the biggest thing we’ve done so far are commercials, so we need to move slowly here.
