• Pc Gamers Dominate Console Gamers

Aim assist actually hinders me more than it helps, especially in the Call Of Duty series, when there's multiple enemies running by, your crosshair slightly follows the enemy you don't want to follow. People think that aim assist is like an aimbot that locks on to enemies. But it isn't. I personally perfer mouse and keyboard but sadly my computer sucks, otherwise I would ditch my consoles in a heartbeat.
Anyone ever get pissed off in games where the aim assist is turned on by default in the PC version? I mean really?
No shit. I still think that consoles are better for fighting games and racing games, though.
People who play FPS's on consoles don't know what they're missing.
I know that FPS games are superior on the PC but there's a certain fun factor I get with playing a decent FPS on the Wii.
i personally dislike consoles aim assist, you can be aiming on someone and another will run past and it'll follow him instead, this is really common with alot of them, it's also obvious that mouse/keyboard has an advantage anyway.
itt fanboys call each other fanboys you guys waste too much oxygen discussing something like this [editline]02:54PM[/editline] in any case, anyone with enough patience could dominate with either tool, to say one is somehow better than another is a ludicrous statement. it's like saying qwerty boards are better than azerty boards give it a fucking rest

I want to be aiming at a distant enemy in Call of Duty but then this other enemy just runs past where I am aiming and as I move, the crosshair follows that guy. It has actually stopped me from getting kills - that's how unhelpful it is. And I tried to disable aim-assist, with the options, but it is always on in multiplayer.
Half-Life 2 on Easy mode doesn't have any aim assist...
The only "aim" assist is the Jeeps gauss gun, and its not even used a whole chapter (if i'm not mistaken)
it's horribly annoying
I can't aim for their head if the sights keep aiming for their chest! :argh:
The reason people didn't play Shadowrun was because it was a shitty game
I actually enjoyed the game very much on. The reason that the large majority of PC gamers didn't like it was because the reticules were a lot larger than necessary on the guns , This was done so that xbox and PC gamers would be on a equal playing field. It also got bad sales on PC because it required windows vista and no one was willing to upgrade for it.
People who play FPS's on consoles don't know what they're missing.
My friend is this huge advocate for console FPSes. Most notably Halo 3. He does side by side comparisons of why Bungie is better than Valve, because they update their blog, and they reward special players, etc. Which Valve obviously does, and better. My point is, sadly a lot of console gamers just like to think the PC is inferior, no matter what. It disappointments me.
This has to be said, Watch and weep console gamers.
Weep at what.
weep because some random dude with a video camera says pc gamers dominate consoles gamers

I think there's threads dedicated to this on the Steam forums actually. Do understand I do consider myself a PC gamer, if I can play stuff on the PC over console I fucking do it. The only reason I even have an Xbox is to play Halo because Halo sucks on PC and only goes up to 2. I'm just not unrealistic about the capabilities of the gamepad. You're the fanboys here, not me.

Here's an article. The console gamers were playing with xbox controllers, what did they expect?
Analog Stick: Continuous movement even when you stop moving the stick, usually under an inch of actual movement Mouse: When you move, the screen moves. When you stop, the screen stops. Range of movement? As far as you can move your arm.
PC gamers are fat, play WoW, and wear red shirts?
I want his monitor.
I think that's the cleanest I've ever seen his office. Plus the Xbox offers two more variable controls, which add more control as well.
I want to see a RTS console versus PC match. That would be a hilarious match.

The staff, who hadn’t played much Halo before, challenged the Halo junkies at the Xbox magazine to a game (on PC) where the XBox players used the XBox controllers and the PC Gamers used the mouse and keyboard. The PC Gamers let the XBox players choose the maps (which they’d never seen before) and pretty much stack the game in their favor as much as possible. Guess who won? Then, when Shadowrun was released they challenged the developers of the game to a Xbox controller vs Mouse+Keyboard match. Keep in mind that the editors had not played the game much at all. They still won. On a PC, you can aim, strafe, fire, and jump all at the same time. You can spin your view around in an instant, or just move it a little bit. With an analog joystick, there is acceleration and the movement is not as precise as a mouse (it's a fact that can easily be proven by looking at how a mouse translates movement by measuring rate of change, and how a joystick measures by using distance from center). Also, keyboard does not offer just 4 directions. You can press more than one at a time. W+A results in a diagonal movement.
You can spin your view around in an instant.
As if that's a plus. Look, I'm sure the small differences add up over a whole team. But a whole team of one versus the other is an unrealistic scenario. I'd also like to add that all of those anecdotes, which they are, don't count for shits. It's a sample size of one pretty much. Statistically that means jack shit. My own anecdotes balance yours out.
No shit. Also don't even bring up the button 180 thing some games have. Its not fast enough and often its confusing to use.
I wonder what realm he is in.
That's an old shopped photo.
Playing racing/fighting games on consoles is better? Why not Gamepad + PC?
