Trust me, I know what it feels like.
One of my most popular videos was reuploaded to Break.com BY Break staff and it had like 50k hits or something. My brother impersonated some sort of lawyer team and threatened a lawsuit and got them to credit me for it.
my video has been reuploaded perhaps 500 times by bots by now, so I try not to let it bother me.
Edit: What I don't get is how these pages find that video, but not yours. Otherthan someone made the channel, tried to steal content only to send it to sites to get it traffic. I should do that for content I make. I just post and hope it does well.

A while back (like, 2 years back) I saw this one let's player who I know is pretty universally hated, and I agreed on that but I would find the occacional bit funny. It was Tobuscus.
There was a bit I animated from one of his playthroughs and it ended up gaining some attention. About 2 million views of attention.
He asked for it to be reuploaded on his account personally. I thought "why not". Before you know it I have thousands of people running to my video telling me I stole it from him. Then I look around the rest of YouTube and find many had reuploaded it, never linking back to me.
I ended up hiding the video because I got sick of reading the comments.
I guess what I'm trying to say here is you could have it a loooot worse. And hey, you've got Facepunch here to back you. Flagged it for spam. Here's hoping they pick up on it, though. YouTube is strange. A friend of mine made a video that got a hundred views and was removed within a day, yet mass-flags like this can take weeks to get remoded, or they don't at all...

He did. In a tiny little note in the video description. And god knows people who frequently watch those kinds of videos never DO read the description. Out of that all he did was put a little fancy "fanbuscus" intro in the opening.
And I think it's mostly YouTube being fickle. Point in case: YouTube layout changes despite the constant public outcrys no not mess with it any more.
It's like kicking a puppy and then pissing on it - and nobody can do anything because you have diplomatic immunity. And an impenetrable plastic bubble around you.
Or something.
My policy for reuploads is that any copy besides mine has a watermark on it. Though not sure that helps you now.
I stopped watching toby as I had to WORK to keep up with 10 videos per day.

OP, if you make more videos like this in the future (and I hope you do because this one is awesome), you might want to consider watermarking it somehow. It doesn't have to be a flashy opening or anything, just stick your name somewhere randomly in the video. Dedicated segments are too easy to cut out.
