I love everything about this. The stop-motion feel, the detail, the shine that appears in all stop-motion vids on the web when LEGO are involved. And it's LEGO. That's my entire childhood. Seeing all those references, especially the 90's astronaut which I have one almost identical.... Guys. I think I'll go get my box of LEGOS and play like a kid again. OH I FORGOT. They better reference this damn thing! What a life saver this was! [t]http://thumbs2.ebaystatic.com/d/l225/m/m_SMnJTH2uWVBk6Ev2EyY5A.jpg[/t]

They need to stop the business guy from connecting two flat two by 1 pieces. They almost stop him but he does it, causing the world to blow up. Then the hero pulls that thing out and saves the day very anti climatically.
I'm speechless. A movie that captures the feeling of stop motion? Yes. Yes please. Stop Motion needs to come back
I get it now this movie is why I exist
This, or anything iceplanet better make an appearance

I love how the crowd at the start resembles the eclectic minifig collection an average person has. If you want to make a crowd, everybody just uses random minifigs :v:

It would be neat if Bionicle/Technic made an appearance of some sort.
I never understood what the hell is that part for.
[sp]you use it to pry apart stuck-together legos[/sp]
So what's the intended audience? The 80's/90's kids who played with Legos or kids who play the Lego games on Xbox?
So what's the intended audience? The 80's/90's kids who played with Legos or kids who play the Lego games on Xbox?
The great thing about this is that it aims to make a Lego film that represents the scenes we all played through in our heads as kids when we played out intricate stories with our jumble of figures. We all had mixed and matched minifgures from different sets. Morgan Freeman's staff is a chewed up lollipop stick, (anyone remember noticing how lollipop sticks fit perfectly in Lego hands?) his hair is made of clay with rubberbands like they were molded for the character, and the pieces are all chipped and chewed up. This movies will be great because it encompasses exactly what we all did with Lego when we had them, crazy fantasy stories about Darth Vader and the pirates and the armies of undead hordes fighting for good and evil. So definitely 80s/90s kids, or anyone who likes Lego sets. This isn't meant to copy the games' CGI remakes of popular franchises, it illustrates how we all played with Lego as kids.
Oh wow, I actually want to see this. They better put Bionicle in there somehow.
If I don't see any of the old western sets I will pop a blood vessel.
[sp]you use it to pry apart stuck-together legos[/sp]
How is that a spoiler?
shhh it's a secret to everyone. now go back to believing it's a complimentary doorstop.
I never understood what the hell is that part for.
I never had one.
I never had one.
My alternative
[sp]you use it to pry apart stuck-together legos[/sp]
I always used my teeth to tear them apart. I have my orthodontical history stuck in LEGO blocks.
Jack Stone and Bionicles need to appear in this movie.
Holy shit, this doesn't seem that terrible...
International trailer just got released and it has a bunch of new footage in it.
This might be a good movie with friends.
God it has the most generic trailer music ever.
God it has the most generic trailer music ever.
It sounds like a Wubwub version of "Take on me" but with different lyrics.
Son aint anything wubwub about that music, but yes its generic.
I really fucking hope Pepper Roni or the Infomaniac appear in here. Or maybe the Brickster. I got a sick keychain with the Brickster on it but I lost it before I ever got keys :(
Alpha Team and Ogel better make an appearance too They have a lot of things they can reference it's gonna be spot the cameo pretty much
It sounds like a Wubwub version of "Take on me" but with different lyrics.
Wouldn't call it "wubwub" but it does appear to be a mix of that.
