It's just that the very first video I saw made with Rockstar Editor was RUNNING MAN which was extremely well made in terms of editing and camera. So I guess yo could say that I compare everything following with the first time. :v:
Nearly all other videos after RUNNING MAN were just about explosions, mindless shootings or bad uses of mods. Most of the creators don't even know how to write and show a simple story in three acts not to mention the camera work in most of them is painful to watch. I don't mean to be rough but about 90 % of the videos I see here could REALLY use more practice. So therefore I wanna give some important advises: Some main principles like the 180-degree rule or the golden ratio or even shot composition can be transferred directly into the GTA world. Always think of a nice Mise en Scène.
//edit:
For all future movie makers this helped me a lot in real life so why not in GTA?

Writing a story require some planning and people to help out so, I bet majority of the clips are just random recordings of their playthroughs. They're just messing around with the Rockstar Editor and I'd say to let them the people mess around with the editor. Over time, they'll get serious and we'll get some nice looking films.
I would say for me at least, I could of spent more time on actually producing a video with a story but sadly player actors was a big empty void.
Does not help that Director Mode is basically nothing more then a glorified cheats thing.
