True, as far as quality goes 5% at 40mbps is probably just fine, and if you're frame blending masking any remaining artifacts. Just that all the accessing of the file in AE will be very slow. Might just transcode it to a lossless intra format.
Alteast it's better than GTA4's which was something like 8-12mbps WMV I think.

Anyone know why the "Upgrade graphics on export" or whatever the setting is called in settings/rockstar editor, doesnt work at all? Shouldnt it be working exactly how SFM does it? Can do all your video shit on lowest but export maxes everything?
My shit still looks like it does when I recorded it on normal settings and the option seems to be broken.

I think it just sets the post fx to max because most of the other settings require the game to be restarted to take effect. Really misleading though, but I guess you could just manually set the graphics to max.
